Kenneth Copeland, also known as Lil Woody, admitted to where he put the gun he used to shoot back at someone during a drive-by shooting involving him, his child’s mother and daughter, as they were exiting their home. Copeland said he left the gun at a neighbor’s house. Prosecutor Simone Hylton asked him why he didn’t tell law enforcement where he hid the gun.

Young Thug faces nearly a dozen charges, including possession of drugs and weapons, participation in criminal street gang activity, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. The rapper was arrested in May of 2022 along with 27 other alleged gang members. Many of those defendants have taken plea deals in the case.
