Heat i feel shouldnt be available at start of match but more like a comeback mechanic or bar you build overtime like t7 geese.

I wish they'd kept kbd, or at least made movement a little more like TTT2. Tekken's movement is what really distinguishes it from other fighting games and adds another layer to the combat. This encouragement of aggressive gameplay just dumbs down the exchanges to who spams better.
Kinda hate how King lost all most all his launchers but he hits like a truck

the improvements from street fighter 5 to 6 was massive. As for tekken 8, it looks basic and underwhelming and nothing more than a simple graphical update. tekken 8 seriously needs new modes and matchmaking features.

looking at when your matches lag it seems to be hardware based and not internet based. at the bottom right in matches you have the connection info but also the two green symbols which represent PC hardware load for your pc (left) and your opponent if they are on PC (right). When it turns red during fps dips it means the whoever's side that turned red pc is struggling with the graphical load of the game. Game is still months out I would imagine and they most likely have not gone full in on optimizations yet so hopefully it will improve but hope the info helps gives some context to the performance drops ^^
