  4. Loved this video telling us about your plans. Iona would like you to come and live in Coventry and then we could enjoy your cakes in the canal basin all the time! I love the sound of your two video series, Victor, I've become fascinated with public realm space, public transport and the connection between design for better active travel and public transport and how it overall makes the space more people focussed, I really noticed this when in the Netherlands (so maybe you'll have to film some of your series there!) and love canal history ever since I had a friend when I was at school who lived in a lock keepers cottage and his Dad, Doug Smith, was a cartographer creating hand drawn maps of the canal system which were brilliant. Hope to see you again soon ane enjoy more of your delicuous cakes!

  5. Good to see you both, and the 'plans'. I'm already looking forward to Vic's Blog. Get a camper van? ie. a van, mattress, and single burner stove and see what happens. Good luck and greetings from Bali.

  6. I do love it when naive dumb people expose themselves, its so amusing. You want to go travelling, now? Are you mad? I'm guessing you don't watch the news much. Please try not to be so dumb, you will only cause strife for your loved ones. Pay attention to global politics and check the government websites for travel advice.

  9. Both of you are so supportive of each other. It doesn’t matter what you do as long as you two are together. I like Jo’s paper cut outs for William. Vic, I can see you making a video of the paper cut outs in black-and-white and William using his imagination and the white paper cutouts, turning into brilliant shades of ocean twinkling colors with the sights, and sounds of a child’s imagination. I for one, cannot wait to see more videos!!!!! Wherever you moved to, make sure you have the space to be creative with great Wi-Fi. Jo needs a really up-to-date kitchen no question. At Williams age all he needs is love and attention. God bless you both. Keep the videos coming.❤

  10. With regard to being an urban planning nerd, if you haven't discovered Not Just Bikes go there. Really good channel. Canadian couple and children living and working in the Netherlands. The guy is an urban planner. There are other channels that I can't remember atm.

  11. Unseen videos – yes. 2024 plans – yes, video nerdy stuff – yes. Wherever you choose to live you'll both make it interesting and that's "your secret" and why I'm proud to say I've been onboard for quite a while. Best wishes and enjoy your 2024 adventures.

  12. Whatever you do decide to do, I hope you are happy. I think you 3 belong on water, I suggest you get a wide beam and moor at a marina so that you’ve got a base so William can go to school. You can travel at weekend and s hill holidays. Someone mentioned home schooling being better than going to school, I don’t agree with that as he will miss out on social interaction and that is important in life. Take care all of you. xxx

  13. Public transport? Nerrrrrrrdy! Looking forward to them. I love the idea of doing series about things that really interest you. It'd would be super cool to do videos about things that interest each of you. You're all lovely and orders of magnitude lovelier collectively. Can't wait to see what you come up with next for videos, for living arrangements, for travel, for the cafe, everything!

  14. A Yank here, saying it's a blast to watch a vibrant young couple (with the cutest kid) doing your thing. My favorite videos are about the canals, especially the history, so you've got me aboard for those vids. I'm a cinematographer, so your scripts/capture/editing are what draw me in, especially how you keep the narration low key and down to earth! Have a great 2024!

  15. Wow, really interesting video because… I had no idea that you both had all these organisational ideas and pressures (TV crew) and such. I guess I just thought you pulled off your videos by rolling through your lives without a care. What an eye opener! Sorry that I didn't give you the credit for all the work and thought but I didn't mean it as an insult, just that I don't know that much about people who Vlog. Having watched a few renovation Vlogs, I would prefer that you would do something that incorporates a bit of the life you've been living on the boats. Sorry you haven't been well but hopefully your health has completely recuperated and you can keep us all entertained here 😉 In terms of new videos, I would find it interesting if you were open to rewilding that you discover in whatever way you choose to live/travel.

  16. When you go to Europe you could help people to understand what it is like to live in the places you visit. You somewhat touched on this when you talked about transport, but perhaps a bit wider. Not what it is like to live in France, but in one district or one small town. I once stayed in Holland at a farm b&b for about a week. Each day I would go to the same bakery so the people knew me. I helped when the sheep had to go down the road. When I thought about "going to Europe" I used to think about places. Now I think about the people. I often ask people for help. I ask people what is the best thing in the bakery. Or where I can find old keys. Or how to get some place. This asking for help seems to unlock doors. People behind me in line in the bakery start urging me (in a foreign language) to try their favorite. It is a kind of magic. So perhaps pick some place, spend a week, make a video about what people like best about where they live, ask where you should go next. And maybe not a video about them but about the interaction when you ask them. Just as the travel videos were about how you interact with places, videos about how you interact with people?

  18. New subscriber here as I just found your channel. I haven't watched many of your videos yet but hopefully will catch up on your story. However you seem to be a lovely family who are down to earth and very watchable due to your sincerity. I wish you all the best in life and God bless you all.
