I want to know how many toilets are on a ship like that. 1000 people needing to poop every day my goodness
This is perfect for kicking the shit out of countries like Grenada
My goodness how can a 30 ton βtankβ even come close to floating
I read the new Marine Core Commander wants to get rid of all these systems, not a good thought process in my mind.
"these massive and awe inspiring vessels can quickly and efficiently remove cash from a taxpayers wallet."

There is not a vessel in the world, with modern warfare, that can't be easily sent to the bottom of the ocean.
America and its people are the biggest TERRORISTS BLOODTHIRSTY in the planet…
very nice us navy
Holland ere.. W Love the US!
Bring in more…
Can anyone answer why the US does not use take-off ramps on their Assault ships and have flat decks only? It seems that this would limit the max take-off weight of the Harriers and F-35Bs considerably.
12,000 meals per day?
It's really amazing what our imbecilic congress will approve. This would have been great for a WW2 invasion; but in 2023? And how could this possibly be considered a defensive weapon? We need to vote them out!!!!!!!
why though? most of these ships arent in battle so its just driving around consuming massive resources and requiring thousands of people to keep driving but whats the purpose?
Crepasseroo
You skipped the FIRST generation of Amphibious Assault Ships.
Namely the ESSEX Class LPH

Why did you joined the Navy? To be a cook. π
You obviously don't know anything about aav's.
They looks like Essex class air craft carriers.
Whenever the military says "It can do 80 mph" what they really mean is "If you really push it, it'll do over 100."
My friend ess a fireman on one he hated it
I like how you focused on the Bataan but a lot of internal footage was from Boxer seeing as how I served with those guys in the video lol

Lhd 6 from 2000-2004. Too bad they had to scrap her after the fire they had in port. Ship was only 20 years old π
Man the military are insane with their cleaning and maintenance. That equipment is better taken care of than I am.
Its not a gym. Its a acclamation room.
USS Belleau wood (LHA-3).
Golden shell back out.
