The eclipse happened and, weirdly, against all odds, no one seems to have been Raptured. What gives? (Note: I screwed up and failed to realize I didn’t post this here when I posted it on my other pages yesterday. My bad.)

  1. Yes! If Heaven was as they describe and think is true Lord have mercy. No thanks I am going with a different version of an infinite source of love which we all are a part of…just visiting on Earth School "what a trip."

  2. Scientists have accurately predicted eclipses to within meters and seconds of where and when they will be visible. I watched this last eclipse and the 2017 eclipse with a phone app that was programmed using math and science to pinpoint my GPS location and give me an audible ten-second countdown to the moment when it was safe to remove my eclipse glasses.
And the rapture predictions of these end-timers have failed EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!
So tell me again, who are the real "prophets" here?
Who understands the nature and events of God's creation better – the scientists who make predictions based on observations, experimentation, and empirical evidence – or the mis-informed religious ignoramuses who think they learned enough in Sunday School to predict the next step in God's plan, all based on their interpretation of a modern translation of a disparate collection ancient myths, poetry, legal decrees, third-hand historical accounts, and cryptic personal communications among a religiously persecuted minority who dare not write in plain language about their hopes and prayers for the downfall of their Roman oppressors?

  3. Dude, you didn't hear? The Rapture DID happen, it's just that not as many Christians are as Holy as they believe themselves to be. By the last count only 8 people Raptured on the entire planet.

  4. Oh, Lordy, I was just saying this to a friend during the eclipse! It's been my long held fantasy that those believers in the rapture should, well, just get raptured, and the sooner the better. Leave this beautiful place to us heathens that respect our dependence on the planet's health for our own health. We could certainly turn it into the inclusive garden of our dreams. Love you Trey!

  5. Rapturists are just a bunch of death cultists. The only difference from the typical death cult is they're not actively trying to harm themselves and are just annoying af.

  6. Lol, the rapture's been supposed to happen for years. If there were a just god, those crazies would be sent to some kind of heavenly deprogramming dimension to help them get their head on straight. We should institute this kind of compassionate option here. Defund political churches and private schools and put $ into equitable education that teaches complete history and equity.

  7. Please, allow me to entertain the idea of this so-called "Rapture": So, Jesus was born in the year 0, and "died" on the cross at age 33. He died for "our sins", which means, that we can sin as much as we want, but what we can say before we die is: Jesus, and everything is forgiving. Right? But wait, he is the Messiah, the "son", and the way to God?… So, if these people are NOT following the Commandments of The Father, how in hell they're going to enter the gates of Heaven? Keep in mind that J.C., has intermediaries that must be paid 10% for the 'roof repairs', every paid cycle. They don't want you to read, "because it's evil", or leave the church, "because you want to sin"… I see.

First problem, the letter J was invented in 1524. Second problem, Christians believe that Joshua is Jesus (Yeshua or Yahshua), the Messiah. He is NOT, never were. Joshua/Hosea (same person) was born in the year 1053. It is written in historical books from primary sources… The point is: That J.C. is an IDOL, created by the Greco-Romans… Jesus is a graven image made of wood and stone. "He" is the 'Sun God', that is worshiped on Sun-days… So, when is the rapture?
