Vincent, please do a proper review like you do for a ROG Swift PG42UQ – it deserves it, since it is the first "affordable" OLED monitor that can fit onto an office desk and can do it all (mac/PC/PS5/Xbox)! Thank you and keep doing great content!
Every time I see a projector review, I get excited. Then I come down with a bump when I see it's the usual, not fit for purpose end of video conclusion. Judder on 24 and 50FPS. In fact, EVERYTHING I will be watching. Will we ever have a projector made for showing films and 50 FPS TV?? I'm not optimistic.
Unfortunately, cheaper projectors just aren’t worth it anymore. £3k will get you a 65” Sony X96K on Black Friday. Maybe when I can afford to spend £20k plus on the latest JVC I’ll consider it. It’s ok if you really must have the biggest screen possible though I suppose.
Something odd I was a bit surprised by is that LG may still either be making or have plenty of stock of the NON-EVO panels they are using them in the B series (I think) but they are surprisingly using them in the (new) CS series too.
Which has be a little worried that they might potentially arbitarily use them on the C1's they seem to have been pulling out from heck know where too – I hope they don't go back to using the older panels on new runs of the C1 as lots of people would want the C1 over the C2 or CS let alone the B series because it has not have some feature strip the C1/G1 has had.
Shame really that they came up with a new brand and kinda got it backwards with the CS – but if the current C1's are the same and have the evo panel now – you will at least get a lower energy rating and to be honest that is reason enough to change all the products over to them anyway.
I think LG has a habit of competing with themselves though and really they'd be better off making fewer (better) models in great volume and not wasting time on the A & B series at all. The G series at least justifies itself as a wall hanger.
More content pls Vincent. Philips 807 is getting superb reviews online. A very strange LG CS set has been released. Would be good to see a review of the LZ1500. Thoughts on the huge, early S95B 55" price drops. Etc.
Hi Vincent, question for you if you would please. How would i go about color calibrating a projector like this UST variant, or a normal projector… for perfect white point balance to achieve a proper greyscale for the lowest Delta E values? My only previous experience is using an Xrite DTP94 to calibrate my old Trinitron PC CRT with WinDAS & HCFR.. 🙁

I got my frist 4k tv and I just discovered 4K is 4096×2160 and UHD is 3840×2160. Can you explain the differences and why TV makers lie (oh surprise)?
Hey i am a huge fan and I have wondered how iPhone 14pro max would do against best tv of 2022 as its now rated for 1600nits Dolby vision/HDR.
Since last time 12pro max review you did against a Sony reference monitor where iphone did excellently I want to see what new 14pro series can do.
