18:23 It honestly kind of bothers me that this "quicktime" choice goes by way too fast to actually read the options, because not only is it the first one in the entire damn game but I can't think of ANY other time it goes by this quickly; plus the Bad End you can get here by choosing to just step off the boat and go home sets up the weirdly dark comedic tone this game has going for it perfectly imo.
Having recently played this one myself, and enjoyed it for plenty of reasons outside "HOT DRAGON DADDIES YAY!!" I can guarantee that you haven't even begun to scratch the surface of the sheer unadulterated batshit insanity this game has to offer. I'm honestly a little disappointed you didn't keep going until the end of the game's "Prologue" because I would've loved to have seen your reaction to what happens at the end, it's the most incredible fucking thing I've ever seen in a furry visual novel.
Chang's parrot is just Polly from Ace Attorney, right? The design is identical. I suppose parrots do live for a long time – long enough to survive the end of humanity and the rise of furry dragons, at least

The dangan ronpa 2/ace attorney trial aesthetics are there but in appearance only
The premise was funny (everyone put top on their dating app pref but almost everyone is a bottom, you have to find the “true top”)
but the plot points are a whole lot of nothing (horny dudes floundering on an island, with most dialogue/events focused on their singular shallow character traits)
This makes the “trial” discussions absolutely dreadfully boring and meaningless bc they literally just discuss nothing of value for 10 minutes
Art is cute, and I didn’t hate the game, but there is no substance past the character sprites
If you like the art play their free VNs (which are also a trainwreck plot-wise, but at least you will get the gratuitous nsfw that isn’t included in Dragon Island)
Why does the interface and background IMMEDIATELY give me Danganronpa 2 vibes? Judging by the transitions and intro sequence, seems like that's what they're going for? But, you know, extremely, extremely horny.
While the censor would have to stay, it would be interesting to see a playthrough of this. See if the overly horny MC and sexualized spirites are just a veneer for this supposed mystery game or if the mystery game elements were a cover for a very gay game. Hope it is the former and that the translation for the full game is better. This is the first Let's Try of a full game in a while, and if it is more Ace Attorney than porn, it could easily slot itself in. Maybe keep Password out longer to save your and Toaster's sanity.
