Heya! If Tours & Tournaments looks good to you, I would suggest considering the "Chapter II" DLC pack, because it's only a bit more and gets you "Elegance of the Empire" (now) plus "Wards & Wardens" and "Legacy of Persia" later this year (in addition to Tours & Tournaments). https://play.crusaderkings.com/Quill#sponsored
You're right, Quill. "Limelight […] is a type of stage lighting. [It] was discovered in 1820" (source: The standard repository of wisdom and knowledge)
geeing up means rousing or getting someone excited. Trying think of a way writing how to prounce it but cant! Its like using a J as in Jump, you would say Jeeing.
This expansion seems amazing! 😍… Except for the travel times which are absolutely ridiculous! 😒 I guess they always were with the armies in the game but still, it appears so clearly here! Seriously, 6 months (=180 days) to walk the distance from Pau to Paris? That's about 800 km. Normal walking speed (which I guess the count and his court would take, assuming they have some footmen as guards) is around 3 km/h. But to travel 800 km in 180 days means you only advance 4.5 km per day, so you walk for about 1.5 hour a day! 😂 (13:43 Of course being delayed by 30 freaking days just because you meet a duelist on the road explains things! 🤣 WTF???) Well, at least it's not AS ridiculous as in Total War Medieval 2 where the fact that 1 turn = 2 years meant that you couldn't cross France from north to south in less than 4 or 6 years! 🤣 Oh, and it's pronounced like "oksitan"… 😉

I wish the grand tournament invitation text didn't sound like a really bad discord RP server announcement
I loved that Honest Paradox mention at the start, this was really really funny and deserved a Like XD

Geeing up soft G, from horses. When you gee up a horse you make it go faster, to encourage it.
like button smashed
Limelight refers to lighting from the 1820s so it's definitely anachronistic.
It's the least we can do since we almost killed you on your flight back from London!
So spammy those events on the road back…..i like a few but jesus. Also the wife bug hopfully isnt a sign they learnt nothing from Royal court
Ockitan is how we would say it… I think.
regency – should be ok, what can possibly go wrong 🤣

Would love to see a full FMV kind of like cut scenes.
Given that the counties turned white when you hired the mercs, I think the color coding isn't land-type perse but relative danger.
Geeing up apparently means cheering for them. Trying to pump them up in the modern parlance.
Google says lights of lime were invented in the 1800s, and it didn't get it's figurative meaning until 1877. So a WEE BIT anachronistic. 😀
you long term goal sould be at leaast marry bern in switerland maybe even end in ow strecing to it lol
Limelight is definitely anachronistic – literally unplayable…
te guy that owns the healing fountain should be your court phisian
12:39 Tome – tomb… quel est la différence? 😋
So scientifically speaking: there was a duck in a shrubbery, how much did the duck weigh?
🔥
Kah – nigets lmao its knights like nights
This update really gives so much to the RP community. Very thankful for this gem from Paradox.🙏
You pronounce "occitan" as "ok-sitan"
The regent definitely shouldn't go with the count to the tourney. Geez, how did they miss that?
