For the record, the Alan Wake games are psychological horror games with a HEAVY emphasis on narrating it’s own story, using light to fight the darkness (literally), and reality changing around you to the story, BUT they have a few moments here and there of cheesy action and silliness behind the more serious tones. Also ALL music in Alan Wake 2 is COPYRIGHT FREE; Remedy REALLY wanted to make sure it didn’t get any ost issues on YouTube and such.

I've head my people that work on games that the reason they announce games "too early" is cause they need a way to announce to developers the games that are working on essentially advertise job opening. You generally apply to work at a game studio because of a game they did before and you hope you get to work on. So while its annoying for us. The alternative is just hearing a news article that X developer is working on Y game.

As far as Cyberpunk goes. It wasn't just patches. CDPR consistently released new content for the game for the last 2 years. 2.0 being the biggest completely overhauling the game entirely
