Ship building is really fun but I recommend getting a good bit of money first so you don't feel limited in what you can build. But you can really increase how much items your ship can carry. There is a limit to the size of the ship but you even at it's limit you can make a very large ship. Also different places have different ship parts etc. I hear that Deimos has a shipyard in the Sol system so maybe that would be a good place to start.

15:32 xD i think there should be another option somewhere in the computer dialogue tree that should treat you as friendly. The pirates as enemys though.
AND the crew can carry stuff as well , pay attention to the dialogue when you talk to them .
I know you're new to this, but don't run into combat in your underwear. The reason you get hurt so much, you aren't wearing armor (spacesuit). No helmet, no light.
Great LP so far – I finished the main quest and I'm having a great time watching you go through the game.
Some things can feel somewhat awkward at first, but it all snaps into place after you do it a few times. I'd definitely encourage you to invest points into Security for those sweet higher level locks. Also, you can see the capacity of a container in the bottom left corner of the screen. For instance, the Frontier shows it can store up to 450 Kg, and you only have 229 in there at the moment.
I never ran into a point where I felt the dungeons (outposts, whatever lol) were repetitive or that I'd seen the same set piece over and over. They always feel new and interesting.

Yeah these dungeons can become super repetitive. For me, seeing same structure shapes over and over was fine, but placements of enemies and loots being same in same dungeon type was kind of disappointing. (Something like weapon type or stats are random tho.) Maybe it's because I stormed every single dungeon I saw, but you want all the loot right?
Hey Fox, 26:40 you actually do have a flash light. If you have any space helmet equipped I think you can hold Q to turn it on/off.
The poi spawning is strange while its true they do repeat set pieces, ive seen new pois each character. That my previous characters didnt see even they are all at the same point. I have a theory the poi roster is tied to exploration for example there are a bunch of "common pois" that you get sent too for radiant missions. But others are locked behind exploration and added to the roster after you discover them. For example i found an underground bio weapons research lab i though it was a generic little poi that ended up being a huge facility after 3 characters id never seen this poi but after first run through i started getting missions that took me to that location on other worlds. But im not 100% certain.
37:18 And you can jump all the way down there too with the boost pack.
I have to stress just one more time that to just hit the boost once before you hit the ground. I don't want you to try it once and you do it wrong and died and then say someone in the comments told you to do that, lol. If you use up your 'two' boosts too fast you'll hit the ground before it refuels again. Just jump, boost about 8' high.
Crouch behind something and aim, you can shoot them like in Deus Ex, behind cover.
