  1. Once you reach the age of consent and majority, it’s no one else’s business, but your own. No one should be judged as a loser or gross just for being attracted to or getting together with somebody who is also legal, no matter how old they are as long as both are legal age or up. There’s nothing gross about it if 18 is the legal age. Shut your judgmental mouth when you know nothing of it and it’s not even your business, Casey!

  2. its one thing to think someone hot compare to hitting on them. parents call there adult children beautiful or hansom but they are not attracted to them. woman do the same thing with there friends. people can call someone hot without hitting on them. people just assume its creep because of past events and news.

  3. "are we getting a Boo in this game?" Casey asks even though there are already two ghosts in the party (yes, they are technically not classified as a Boo but they still fit the same type)

  4. As a 18 year old I think it’s ok for Ian to call me a hot boo, although I don’t think Casey was talking about us being upset about it and more other 30 year olds, and like sorry Casey I can’t help it that the 30 year old dude is so hot, but I’m not gonna date them because like you said it’s maybe not the smartest

  5. I like to give my opinions on a lot of things but I'm not touching that shit with an 18 foot pole.

The one thing I'll say is that once you're mid to late 20s your brain should be fully developed but before that you have to be more aware of possible manipulation.

I don't get finding the boos attractive but I know Lady Bow (the PM64 partner) is very popular.

  6. I was wondering what the title was about until I saw you get to the boo, then it made sense
edit : oh god I could not have conceived of where it was actually getting, see y'all at the cancellation party /s

I lost last episode's count so I hope my hasty re-do didn't make me miss any
Mowz' ability was used 27 times this episode, making for 177 total (onscreen) uses

  7. I don't think I ever knew there was something for going behind the counter like that. You know you now need to unlock all the minigames and get high scores in them all, right?

Probably should have held on to that veto just a bit longer…

Ooh, really liking the new battle music variant!

Despite the ridiculous way it started, that was genuinely a good conversation.

Casey specifically pointing out the Russian-coded dialogue of the bob-ombs, then dropping it for the mayor was hilarious.

Time to hunt down Goldbob and General White! People complain about this all the time, but I feel like it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. And the remake warp room will streamline the process, too.

  8. Okay first off:
The boo being hot and 18 is much less offensive than the fact she's dead

    And second:

Mario DID commit war crimes. During the very first super Mario Bros for the NES, Bowser turned the civilian inhabitants of the mushroom kingdom into bricks and plants. Mario destroyed almost every brick he came across, leading to the deaths of uncountable innocent men, women, and children.

Fun fact: in the original Japanese version the boo duo wear bunny ear bands instead of cat ears. But that was removed in other regions due to copyright of the outfit. (Fan artists aren’t bound by this, so they just have 1 have cat sets and the other have bunny ears as differentiation).

Also, wait what the heck are those first 13 minutes???

  10. I should be concerned
5:01 THE WAY HE SAID THAT LOL
Noelle's mom is probably a baddie /neg ngl
there should be a level in a game or something where snow and confetti is mixed and it's like, a winter wonderland mixed with a birthday party. i… might write that down if i rember
    14:11 For the aesthetic
I think that Casey's boo headcanon makes sense.
    26:25 thanks casey

  11. How does Casey and Ian not know about the min age that it wouldn't be creepy!? 1/2 your age + 7. So a 35 dating a 70 is creepy because the minimum age that person should be dating is 42.

  12. I have no valuable comment for the… elephant in the room.
But, I do have a comment for the soundtrack. The chapter 7 battle theme is my favorite one by quite a bit, and the Fahr Outpost theme has a great vibe. They nail the "determined near-the-finale but ice," vibe. One guy called the battle theme similar to "Team, It's Getting Serious!" from Bug Fables.

  13. My only comment on the…conversation…is that as queer people age stuff needs to be talked about more.

In a previous game (not saying what game bc I hope yall play it one day) a Boo swears something on their grave so I guess they are just people who died…?

  14. Mental maturity is a strange thing. I'm ~30 but I have a lot of times when I feel like I'm still 16 because of some mental health stuff. On the other hand, when I see actual teenagers on the bus, I can definitely tell the difference in maturity.

  15. Anyone who likes 18 to 30 year olds is a loser. And then you have Robert De Niro like he's definitely a loser. I mean he's a communist so I guess that does make him a loser automatically. But essentially he's pretty fucking famous and the definition of not a loser and he had a kid at like fucking 75

  16. Ian, I'm on your side here. And I'm extremely glad you got Casey to see your side here.

"That particular person is attractive. Oh, they HAPPEN to be 18. Ok, well they're still attractive, but the fact that they're 18 means I don't need to be dealing with that beyond appreciating the fact that they're attractive."

    is a different deal from

"Ok, I'm going to get on this dating app and I'm making my range for me, as a 30 year old, where I can swipe and match with an 18 year old."

One is looking for an 18 year old to date. The other is acknowledging your standards of attractiveness. And I definitely agree with Casey that if you're 30+ and find out that someone you're attracted/talking to is 18, you back out. In fact, I've done that.

But I also agree with Casey that you absolutely didn't have to talk to that round jerk. I almost dropped off from that episode, and ignore it until this one.

  17. Ian, I think everyone is on your side. Commenting on a sexy little boo in a game isn't the same as actively lusting after 18-year-olds in real life.. But hearing this whole argument just spiral crazier and crazier, it really made me miss Gauntlet: Dark Legacy with Inutsu. I wish you could do more of those. I think it would have helped get this out of your system.

  18. You know, thinking about it, I’m not entirely sure Boos are ever confirmed to be deceased living. I think there’s like, one throwaway line in the first Paper Mario that hasn’t been overtly backed up in over two decades, so maybe they ARE born as ghosts?
