Let’s Play Kaiserpunk. Gameplay.
In this Let’s Play video, you will see me play Kaiserpunk (Steam Next Fest). This game is a city builder with grand strategy elements. The premise of this game is you are in an alternate 20th century universe where WW1 (World War 1) never ended. You rebuild a city that is your HQ for resource production that is used train/recruit units that you deploy out into the neighboring regions to take over sort of like in the board game “Risk”. This is the grand strategy aspect to the game. The city building aspect reminds me of the game “Anno 1800” with the grid style placements and worker class tiers. The demo that I played had a few bugs and wonky tutorials steps. Overall, this game could use some more development time and polish before release. The resource production needs some balancing as well. Keep in mind, this game is currently a demo in the Steam Next Fest and not released yet. I don’t recommend it at the moment, but feel free to check out the demo for yourself and decide.
