Let's play Elden Ring with Taylor Lorenz | Press Play Livestream, analysis

Welcome to “PRESS PLAY,” a recurring live show on Fridays at 4 p.m. ET where the Press comes to Play. The Washington Post’s video game coverage team, Launcher, brings on big-name guests and journalists to play various games, including new and upcoming games, pre-release previews, interesting game mods, and popular multiplayer games.

In this episode, we invite on Washington Post’s newly acquired columnist Taylor Lorenz, previously from the New York Times. We venture into The Lands Between once more and ask for her opinions on Elden Ring and its influence on video game culture. Also appearing on stream are Nathan Grayson and Gene Park.

  1. I'm sorry but y'all are doing a real bad job explaining what's good about these games to Taylor lol

Also Taylor needs to get some headphones, everybody else is wearing them but we still hear feedback :/

    Fun video though

  2. 👋🏼 Hey Taylor !! Just finished your article on SXSW and how trash and disappointing it’s been so far in Texas. We will try harder in the future to wear masks and protect the vulnerable from the …🤔 masks? Patriarchy ? White people prolly .
We just want to make sure we don’t add more stress to the unrelenting rigor and grit a Concert/internet journalist requires.

Okay.. real talk I just wanted to put a face to the cyber bully about to be sued into oblivion..
    😬 eeeeeeek .. that’s never good.
It’s not like you destroyed her livelihood and reputation and then her clients went over to a rival agency lol .. at least there’s that
