Today I visit the Famous Grave of Les Dawson.
Leslie Dawson Jr. (2 February 1931 – 10 June 1993) was an English comedian, actor, writer, and presenter, who is best remembered for his deadpan style, curmudgeonly persona and jokes about his mother-in-law and wife.

Grew up with watching him on tv.loved blankly blank
Down the other end of the road from Carleton crem where I live, ha ha! Hope you're well
Not sure if it has been mentioned, but I think the hologram thing they did for him was incredible, especially for his wife and more so for his daughter who unfortunately never got to meet him. It would be lovely if they could do it for more people we've lost
Thanks Paul!
A wonderful loveable commedian.
His ex wife and daughter too busy to put flowers on maybe
Les Dawson was a huge part of my life as a child, teen and adult.
With Roy Barraclough, he was just a legend.
Much missed
Paul, you are a class act
Love how much respect you show those who's lives you honour with your visits.
Thank you so much
What a legend Les Dawson was…. Massive in doing bad jokes that were so funny.. Piano notes, but he was an amazing standing comedian, loved this guy. Check his videos out. We laugh still Les thank you 🙏🏼 ❤️
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I pay around $14 a month NOT to hear/see commercials & then listen to you spew out some scam about buying a square foot of land & then you mention to thumbs up & subscribe several times?? GET A JOB!!
That was great, Les Dawson is up there among the very top comedian in our lifetime a time when they didn't have to drop the F-bomb to get a laugh because they could, so it was pure talent when all you have to do is think of one of his routines and it can make you smile that's talent, thanks Paul another winner
Sad to see no flowers, always makes me feel sad to see no one has visited.
such a funny guy nice cemetery he's in thanks for doing this one Paul
Great video Paul I live close by to the lytham cemetery and crematorium where les is buried it was the actor Roy Baraclough who worked along side him. So sad that there’s no flowers or plants on his grave maybe it’s what his family wants .I see the lovely Mrs Tracey Dawson when I’m out shopping in St Anne’s on sea. It’s always nice to say hello. Keep up your amazing channel. I follow it with great passion.xxx💙🥰👏👏👏👏👏
Lord Paul, I have followed in thou footsteps and now I am known as Lord Dafydd ..and 3 trees to go with it.. ! Great video by the way … Stay safe .. Lordd D !

Sissy and ida so funny. Like my daughter and I chatting away about someone and they pass by.
A really really funny man, no bad language or innuendos, just a funny man, thanks for finding this one Paul.
The late great ,Les Dawson: ‘even his most savage mother-in-law lines were written with love’. Did you ever see the hologram show they did of him a few years back?
As a 70's kid we were spoilt with the talent that was around then. Les Dawson,The Two Ronnie's,Morecambe and Wise,Tommy Cooper and many many more.
You know we all enter this life with nothing and has equals : some of us become more famous than others be it in television , or outside of the public domain and make an impression in one way or another , and yet no matter how successful we become in our field of expertise we all leave with nothing. I've noticed that these great people that have left this world of ours just seem to blend back into " the graveyard of society ". with nothing . You could just walk straight past their graves and wouldn't even notice them, and I like that. Your content , information is absolutely first class, without doubt the best in the business in what you do and I thanks you for that.
Another great star who will never be forgot, well done sir Paul
Best ever host of Blankety Blank!
I loved Les Dawson with Roy Barraclough
An absolute comedy genius with truly incredible timing and delivery. I remember him asking people to help look for a lost cat. He said when he eventually seen it he though it had only one eye until he realised it was walking backwards 🤣. Great video Paul 👍🏻.
Really loved this video Paul Thankyou..what a legend Les Dawson was …So heartbreaking he didn’t get to see his baby daughter grow up …What a funny man X
I hope he's not buried next to his mother in law.
Knickers Knackers Knockers 😂 x
My parents are lord and lady they got a plot of land in Scotland to
Hi Paul, I missed this vid of which as always you deliver respectful and very gentle. Les was a scream, the type of laughter that has been deprived from today's viewing. Thank-you for bringing memories.
He starred in drag with Roy Barrowclough later starring as Alec Gilroy in "Corrie" one of thier names when in drag was "Ada" I do believe the other being "sissy" not sure though.
This man was so funny, I really miss him. Thank you for this one. He was a hero of comedy 🎭 The piano playing was fantastic, even though he played the wrong notes we all knew the 🎶 RIP Les Dawson. 🎭❤️
Surely that's Lytham St Annes and not Blackpool?
One of the most brilliant comedians ever. loved him when he played his piano all wrong. Another good video Paul and showing respect to someone that used to bring laughter into people's lives x
He was an absolute legend
