  1. What a great surprise combo. Lego and racing, Easy Allies and MinnMax. The game looks fun, will be great to see custom vehicles. Definitely want to keep seeing these two outlets work together. Y'all might need to compete in some games in the future.

  2. The thing I loved about Lego racer is how the power ups build on each other. There was just 3 main types but you could save your power up to build it to be better if you got more pieces of the same type. Really bummed out that they replaced that unique system with Mario kart clone powerups 😢

  3. I would think that for a cars game, "red light green light" definitely needs a "yellow light." When you see that, slam the brakes and be at a full stop before the red light hits.

  4. Bloodworth, can we please get a Milo update on this game when it comes out? Brandon said Milo loves watching him play Forza Horizon in the recent Frame Trap?

  5. I'm taking this opportunity to shout out Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts, I think it's a fabulous game and with things like this here Lego game and with Zelda having a vehicle building component I'm hoping that Nuts & Bolts can have a renaissance.

  6. Definitely aimed at children, so it's hard to be too critical my end šŸ˜…. Can see the Horizon influence for sure, but other than the car creation tool, this seems far too flat for me.

Struggled to get into the Lego Star Wars games because they felt too childish.

  7. The moment I heard they were making a new lego racer, i got hit with the biggest wave of nostalgia. I miss those OGs so much, glad to see they're keeping the open world aspect from racers 2, I just wish they kept the combo power up system too. At least the teleport is still there, but last to first is way crazier than before.

  8. I really really REALLY hope the driving/drifting physics are good – I was excited for Hot Wheels Unleashed too, but wonky drifting physics combined with narrow tracks basically kill the entire fun I had with that game. IMO Mario Kart 8 nailed the drifting physics; Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed drifting is also very accessible, although simpler. These two games have the best drifting among kart racers (I don't count Crash Team Racing because it works differently)

  9. This is not worth it. I personally get a lego game for the "story" and creative but memoriable scenes. and they ask 60 bucks for pre order…. hell no you can already smell the DLC content that's gonna be shipped with zero care in the world. don't be fooled. unless you REALLY loved some of the classic lego racer games… Wait until A. its been released and is received well by rating. or its a major Sale

  10. This game looks and sounds fun! It seems like it will have a bunch of stuff to do and explore, with plenty of objectives, biomes, races, characters and customization. It seems really fun and charming and is reminding me of ModNation Racers with the announcers, rival characters with unique vehicles, kart customization and the races. I’m greatly looking forward to this game!
