  1. Plenty of games have resources not just no man's sky. If they didn't laser resources but instead chopped or hammered. Ya'll would've screamed outdated & that NMS does it better. Only space & resources this & NMS have in common.

  2. To mention in regards to the different planets based on comments the general idea is that they procedurally generated the surface of the planets to create the core landscape (because obviously it would be unreasonable to hand craft the landmass of 1000 planets by hand) but then they added handcrafted bits on top of them like cities, bases, quest locations, etc. On top of this there's an added level of generation where points of interest are not necessarily locked to certain locations so in one save you might reach a location and find one thing but on a separate save there is something else in that spot. There will though still be a mix of planets that are more for resource gathering compared to ones that have more hand crafted content. I doubt they really expect players to actually explore every single world in depth and a lot of it is for the sake of the scale and selling the feel of a galaxy while the meat of the gameplay will be focused more on certain worlds.

  3. Hmm, to be fair, they keep releasing Skyrim because players keep buying it and keep wanting it released on new platforms. I have never been a huge fan of re-releases, but it just seems to be a pretty popular thing and I have come across people wanting other BGS games re-released like Fallout 3, Morrowind, and Oblivion.

Something also of note worth. BGS hasn't really had any "Ls" other than Fallout 76 and Todd wasn't even the game director on that. The last game he directed was Fallout 4, and even though it may not have met everyone's expectations, it's a game that has done really well regardless. They did a lot of things in that game that were a bit controversial but you can see they stepped back on all that. They tried it, didn't work and moved on and don't seem to be doing it again.

  4. Bethesda has 5 Game of the Year titles. You cannot look at Starfield and say its not number 6. No other game this year is touching Starfield. Not even Tears of the Kingdom. Anytime Bethesda spends 5+ years making a game, its gold.

Starfield is the next big win for them. And a huge win for Microsoft.

  6. @Legenis There is a modproject for Skyrim to make it multiplayer so I would asume that there will be a similar project if Starfield will be successful!!

From my point of View I can t wait for the first complete overhall Star wars/Star Trek/etc mod like Enderal and Skyrim !!!!

  8. I've watched this whole video 2 times now. I love the way you were pessimistic at the start then optimism showed at the star map then full blown hyped at the end lol! xD

  9. Well to get the depth of Starfield you have a spaceship, Skyrim would be SUPER tiny if you had a car or flying mount. Being on foot, horse is what kept Skyrim to appear vast and chock full of things to explore. a Starship will allow those 1000 planets to appear vast yet explorable.

  10. I suppose Todd Howard has no cred anymore among internet sheeple. But he still has a lot of cred among people who realize the last 5 games he directed (and their Metascores) were Fallout 4 (88), Skyrim (94), Fallout 3 (91), Oblivion (94), and Morrowind (89). They all won GOTY awards. He deserves criticism for Fallout 76. He played a part in its development and he definitely played a part in its marketing, but one flop shouldn't make people forget everything else he did.

  11. your braindead comments along ur braindead twitch comments combine for maximum ad hominem related to cognitive function, how you're protecting your ego by constant devaluing is infuriating considering how low quality you are

  12. Space magic is more likely either psychic based telekinesis learned from the artifacts or a science based suit mod using electromagnetics since this is sci fi…or Todd stole the force…either way this makes star wars mods easier lol
