LeBron is not Magic
He is not on my list for basketball IQ
LeGm
He had too much power with management, probably not too much now but a few years back his wishes are the Lakers command especially when he pouted and quit on his team to get AD and that is a good example of professional
Old heads really be hating on LeBron. It's really funny coz they always say it's not hate. But IT IS 😅
20 SEASONS IN and the age of 38 👈 LEBRON STILL MANAGES TO make headline news in the heads of millions 😂
Think about it if Lebron had the power that people thinks he have, don’t you think he would have nothing but the top nba superstars on his team? A coach that he probably wanted like ty Lue. I mean like mark said don’t u think he would have kyrie on the team. It’s just a dumb narrative that people put on Lebron.
people continue to make up FALSE narratives "then" they attach Lebron's name to it ..
STOP using "lebron's name" to get the "attention" you crave ..
Yes he does
Slow news day…m
Kyrie would be a Laker and Tye Lou would be the coach.
Don't pay any attention, Stockton is one of those right wing lunatics 😂
Lebron had control , he doesn’t have it after the Russell Westbrook trade period
I woyld say that, as evidenced by the last two off seasons and past trade deadline, LBJ list a TON of influence in regard to roster construction after the Westbrook trade failed so miserably. They didn't make the panic move to ship the rest of their future assets attached to Westbrook to get Tuner and Heild (the right decision in my opinion), thry traded for more youth in the deadline deals (LBJ is notoriousfor not liking to play with young teammates), and have made a clear youth driven pivot to building around AD this off-season. That's not to say he's had no influence or hasn't been consulted on moves, but it's clear he doesn't have the outsized power over the organization that he did in Cleveland. It's also clear he gained a great deal of deference and trust in his roster preferences after the AD trade lead to a championship that was lost entirely whith how bad the Westbrook trade turned out to be. I love Westbrook, hes an amazing talent, but his contract was just far larger than his ability to effect wins in today's game. All together, I feel LBJ has the right kevel of influence in tge Lakers organization for the present situation after an equilibrium was found.
Way to much power TBH and im a lakers fan of 35yrs.
Oh come on, i know you all need daily content. But dont go making vids on click baits articles.
Anyone think of the RDC leborn skits
If lebron controlled the Lakers we would have Kyrie. 🤷🏾♂️
Lebrons league boys n gals
People like to forget how much Lebron was involved in acquiring Westbrook and even though I don’t think the world was fair to Westbrook, I think Lebron is the reason people were so hard on Westbrook. Westbrook was blamed for their losses….but never Lebron’s involvement in bringing him there. Lebron’s teammates always get blamed for the teams failures and Lebron only gets credited for his teams success.
I've been a Laker fan since 1986. Speaking for myself, not anyone else, I am looking forward to Lebron's departure. To me and again, to me, he is a very self absorbed diva. His "selflessness" is NOT something I have ever seen in him. I like that he is cool to his teammates and his talent level is and has been off the charts but I grew up watching Magic then onto Kobe. Mentally, Lebron is nowhere close to those killers. He has had too many mental breakdowns in the 4th quarter, throughout his career. I was born and raised in LA. I've seen truly great NBA players in my lifetime. Sue me for not being impressed with Lebron. lol.
10 finals in 20 years, any organization should happily welcome that type of power, even though it’s not necessarily true. There’s are only 3 franchises with 10+ finals appearances in the history of the league.
Stockton played in a different era with a traditional organization. Little did he know Jordan was on the opposite coast bullying GM’s to get what he wanted. Maybe if the Jazz made some moves he wouldn’t be ringless. No disrespect though. Stockton was a Point God.
This isn't the 80's it's a more competitive era of Star players teaming up and trying to win championships. And that's mostly it. Players move on mostly because of getting better deals in free agency like Schroder and Caruso. Or because they just were an awful fit like Westbrook. GMs have to juggle contracts and looking for the bigger, better deals while trying to keep under the cap. A few players get kicked off a team or added once in a while. But mostly not due to contracts. So, what is he talking about anyways. It's not the 80's where role players stay on a team forever and are either mediocre or get really old on small contracts. He's not even a role player. Could they ask a more geriatric old-time player than Stockton. Probably couldn't find another on the planet morons.
Mr. Stockton seems to "skillfully" leave out guys like Durant, who has always been significantly impactful with moves in Brooklyn, then now, Phoenix.
STEROID USING LEBUM NEEDS TO SIT DOWN SOMEWHERE……THE GOAT OF CHEATING THE GAME💯💯💯💯💯
He took over the franchise from day one and got rid of everyone in sight and a ton of people are trying to convince themselves he isnt
The whole situation is not normal…the roster has been overhauled for the 6th straight year..it's unprecedented
John Stockton is not old school….the lakers are giving up too much……6 years in a row a whole new roster…it ain't normal
The Lakers didn't get kyrie not cause Pelinka put his food down and let LBJ have hisway, they didn't get him cause brookly wasn't going to send him to the Lakers.
I agree 💯 %
How come he control the lakers he is a certified loser, choker and flopper no player in lakers history do that thing.
Labron james is a head coach playing in the game
You need a big like javelin magee like that or labron james is going to work hard we need a magee or a Howard
