And again, in a beautifully deserving 1080p HD format!!👌 Lovely Gene Tierney at the early 5:07 mark is without question "A face that launched a thousand ships". 🤩 And I'll certainly echo director Martin Scorsese on this one as "one of my favorite films of all time….." Truly a complex psychological drama, definitely "in a league of its own." 🤐
The theme music is absolutely terrific – and unforgettable – has anything so powerful been put to celluloid before or since? (The photography acting and direction are pretty smart too of course!)

I fell in love with Gene Tierney as a young boy so many years ago. It is so sad that she, Veronica Lake, Marilyn Monroe, & so many others like them self destructed through drugs & alcoholism. That the beauty on the outside masked the darkness in their souls & the demons that took them away from us.
Great movie. Love Gene TIERNEY. The way she stares at him on the train is unnerving and an early indication she’s cray cray. Thx for uploading this gem 👍
Vincent Price in a role very different than any other I had ever seen him in. I wonder how his intensity in this performance catapulted him. Dick, the writer husband character was sickening. The actor's performance was flawless as a milquetoast chump – "hero" of the movie doesn't apply.

Not a noir for 7 minutes, from 3:33, even if she seems to let her book falling by purpose. By the way, the book has his photo on the cover: didn't she noticed the resemblence?

Really wanted to view this, but the volume was so low, I could only hear details if I held my chome book to my ear!
