Without light there are no shadows, and without shadows, your choice in photos gets severely limited!

My images are composed in camera, with no post processing involved, other than initial color correction for printing purposes. Compositions are achieved without cropping or most of the techniques normally associated with today’s digital darkroom. The results are images that depend on meticulous exposure and framing, contrasts, texture, color and value, image placement, negative space, choice of subject matter (and unusual layering or juxtaposition) and the narrative that comes from direct observations.
