Amazing
Living in Ontario, just found a chicken processing class in St Catherine's on kijji.
You're the most out going introvert I've ever come across Billy. Lol
I live on the wrong side of the country. Lol we've got a pig that we need to process. I can't kill anything (drawback living on an homestead) but I can process. Unfortunately, don't have anyone to put down the pig, let alone a tribe to help. Someday though. ๐
When I was a little kid back in the 60s, we would sometimes drive thru a very tiny town in western Kentucky that had a sign that read, โWelcome to the only place in the world where you can scald a hog in Cold Water. โ. The name of the town was Cold Water, KY. LOL
Hi GREAT videos.I garden organiclly at OUR community garden at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn,NY.I have question does Shou sugi ban work on HT heat treated palletwood FREE wood. That is how I make my raised beds and make them for other gardeners.
Always watch.always learn.hopefully something sticks ๐
I absolutely despise the fact that content creator homesteaders are charging to teach others how to thrive. I thank God I was born when neighbors looked after like minded individuals whether they lived next door, down the road or church members. You know how I know you love your neighbor, you charge them a couple hundred dollars to help you butcher your hog.
My dad & I had a great time at the event and learned a lot. Great to talk to the Permaculture Pimp Daddy again!

Could not agree with you more!!! Wish there were more opportunities locally like that. Teaching proper dispatch is SO important and a bit unnerving to learn.
I learned that prolapse trick with the pipe and rubber band watching a tv show years ago called the amazing Dr. Pol. Show about a country vet in upstate Michigan; haven't had to use it yet. Thanks again for another good vid, Sapper. If I can ever get my tail out of Northern Canukistan, I'd love to head straight to the Carolinas/Tennessee to meet up with all you fine folks.
Go Army! Bing watched the whole chicken tractor on steroids. You got me hooked. Thank you for the great content. Amazing!
So thankful for you all, willing to share all your learning and expertise. Thank you.
How do I go about getting comfrey
HEY BILLY I have a compliment and also a question about the comfrey. First, I use your method or a modified version of it on a smaller property. I had someone demand to pay me $4 a dozen as a regular customer because he said they are the best eggs heโs ever eaten. We are rural and he had chickens when he was younger. Okay, I have blocking 19. The rabbits will eat it, but itโs not their fav. Is it too bitter compared to what you have? Do you recommend I try out your comfrey? (For rabbits and chickens.) Love you and thank you!
Hey Billy, in your years of butchering, have you processed a wild (feral) hog like we have in Texas? Didnโt know if you had the opportunity when you lived here.
We had a great time at the class. We learned a lot and loved that you all were very thorough. Thanks for emphasizing the importance of knowing the cuts and how each cut is used.
Billy Great video you shy little thing you Hahahahaha- Hey great video. Thanks Denise- Australia
Loved the pig prolapse fix. Proves it can be done
Just bought comfrey from you all . Are there any videos for how to plant these cuttings ? Thanks yโall
Man I wish I could have been apart of this. Learning is always fun.
No one works harder than you
One of these days I will try to get there to one of y'all gathering up together. That's three of my every day watches Billy,Ben and Jason all together l. Our food supply is in grave danger unless you grow it locally yourself or know the farmer. Keep up the good work and God bless you all
Billy my man thank you again sir for sharing the knowledge.I think itโs really cool that people are willing to help. The further we educate like minded people the less we need The Big guy!๐ Thank your brother.
Looks like it was a great learning experience for everyone. Hopefully I'll be able to attend one of your next ones.
Nice to see folks learning skills!
I think Eustace Conway has a twin brother.
Great that you show folks things they need.we try to show neighbors how to do country ham they like to eat it but won't do it at least we try
It was great meeting you Saturday, I look forward to the Asheville event as well.
