While crafting night scenes is an art, having a big budget and skilled crew simplifies it. High-end lighting gear, specialized teams, flexible schedules, and advanced post-production tools make achieving cinematic night shots far easier than in lower-budget setups. This masterclass feels geared toward professionals or advanced enthusiasts already familiar with lighting and composition. For newcomers, it might feel overwhelming without prior experience or access to high-end gear. A beginner-friendly approach covering fundamentals and affordable setups would bridge that gap.
Nice!
Epic!! I was there on the ground shooting this with Shane, and I can say I learned a ton! I also just finished working on a big feature with Shane and of course saw many setups like these but didn’t have any access into his mind! On this one night alone, I learned more about lighting nights than I have in 18 years on film sets! THIS is one you don’t want to miss.
Now this looks exceptional!!
