I was lucky enough to visit the terracotta warriors in Xi'an several years ago. It is an incredible site! Occasionally, the Chinese government allows some of the warriors to travel around the world, and I took my sister to see them when they were in Melbourne, Australia about four or five years ago. Not quite like seeing them in situ, but still impressive.
thank you for sharing, i will go to this city for sure 😛

Stories have it during Alexander the great empire, some of his architects were hired to help with the statues since their borders weren't far from Xian. Are you going to throw an alcohol bowl to attack us now? 😅
谢谢Christine!我以为耳蜗不能从外面看到。。。

Best content so far. The terra-cotta warriors make a great subject and the language call-outs are super helpful.

I visited this site in Xian some years ago. But there were no tourists about . I think because I was with Master Sri Chinmoy and his students we shown in a back entrance and were the only ones there. ( Well, only ones there besides thousands of the soldiers , but the soldiers ignored us )
Amazing. The Terracotta warriors aren’t bad either! 😜
I went to see the Terracotta Warriors a few months ago and booked a tourist tour, but I joined one with a Chinese group. It was so funny, and everybody wondered if I could understand the Chinese explanations 😅. Anyway, it was a nice experience, and I can't wait to come back to China.
I heard that over the centurie some farmers discovered warriors, but immediately reburied them, thinkng they might bring evil, or were some sort of spirit, or ghost.
Weird thing is that I bought a small clay warrior souvenir but I accidently broke the head off. How could those soldiers last centuries when I couldn't get my one soldier to stay whole one day.?!?
