Full of shit
A Mahindra would be a better bet at a third of the price . What a nuffy.
How does it compare as far as egts and coolant temp go on the hills towing 3t?
Embarrassing
It's the auto that is the key an auto will get through a bad boggy or sandy section
It’s not the Size of the Dog Mate!!
As a Foreigner, I’m not sure how you classify as being Australian when your from Tasmania
See what it's like at 400,000km
Would love to see you compare your 300 against your 2.8 79
Can't wait for your 300.000km review. Got 470.000 out of my n70 got 520.000 out of my 2000 hilux 1kz both sold in great running condition. Have a 1hzj79r have 300.000km now on it .toyota make good trucks .very keen to see how the cruiser 2.8 engines stand up to 300thkms ..
For what I do the V8 is perfect.
People who think the 2.8 is better than the V8 are delusional. The 2.8 drinks like a camel and overheats under load.
Could just de-tune the 79 if you’re worried about longevity? Keen to hear the new exhaust
Well said! You know, you can't bag a Toyota, especially the V8 brigade, it's, like blasphemy and at the same time you can't tell them either. Closed minds.
Either way it’s a Toyota so you can’t go wrong!!
Of course it's better. The tiny underpowered V8 is trash
Oh man, you poor bloke. Always driving farm equipment
old mate sounds like he's delivering the most important news headline ever… to someone standing 100 metres away😁
You’ve owned your fair share of Toyota what do you think of reviews out there saying ford are more reliable
V8 79s don't even wave at the old 75s anymore. Respect what came before
Best 70 is the 2001-2006 1hdfte
