The verdict is in for Vanessa Bryant and Christopher Chester against the County of Los Angeles over photos taken of the Kobe Bryant helicopter crash scene and the deceased. Bryant was awarded $16 mil, Chester $15 mil. After what we covered on Tuesday, this was the outcome I expected. What do you think?

Good of them for standing up for what is right, I think people should loose their jobs over this
I think this is the right verdict, but who is going to pay this? I think it is only fair the LA county is going to pay this to the victims and then let the people who shared the photos pay back all this money. Let them feel it in their wallet otherwise they don’t learn anything.

She absolutely deserved compensation because what happened after her loved ones passed was vile. However, my hospital admitted to negligence in my care that left me permanently blind. I won't even get close to 1million. Life changing disability and I'm still fighting, over 2 years later, for about 50 to 300 thousand. Doesn't seem fair 😞

This was a sad outcome for first responders seeing fame person instead of real people.

It was one thing to take photos of the crash site. That make sense. But sharing those photos at a bar. Disgusting

A right and just verdict. Proved a lack of empathy and morality in showing the photos to others.
Heartbreaking the legalities some families have to endure, over years, before they can find some solace. Would you also take a peek at Trevor Summers case and Prosecuter Jennifer Johnson who seems to have done an outstanding job and what a case.
I get if you do that kind of work, you get a bit callous. But! This case was awful. Just awful.
Those poor families.
The trauma these acts caused her and her family are unfathomable. I cannot believe anyone let alone first responders thought it acceptable to share these for some entertainment and a cheap thrill. I am so glad they won.
