Ukrainian Finance Minister Sergii Marchenko was reported as saying that Ukraine burned US$250 mn /month in February due to war and now it has increased to US$3.3 bn / month in May. This is highly unsustainable and soon it will have to choose between paying Nurses as opposed to paying soldiers. In September 2022, if Western pledged amount do not materialize, it will hit a dead end in the war. So it is matter of time until Zelensky throw in the towel.

The US had a glut of LNG after they went on the fracking blitz. North america doesnt really use LNG there was a flurry of projects but there is no consumer market here we just dont have the density to justify everyone using gas for heating, the cities can get away with it but you cant get anywhere near the network of pipes that the europeans are used to.
all those projects basically had zero ROI, now the US has a captive customer market, all they had to do was destroy syria and ukraine to get it.
