LATINX in Comics – Live Panel at Fan Expo San Francisco

This past November, Kyra from Relatable Nerds, had the honor and privilege of moderating a panel comprised of all Latinx creators, artists and authors.

We had an enlightening conversation, discussing each creator’s upbringing, path to each of their respective mediums and overcoming the adversities faced as a Latin minority in the United States.

Artists apart of the panel (make sure to check out their work!):

Kayden Phoenix, creator of A La Brava, the first Latina superhero group

Jarrett Melendez, author of Chef’s Kiss, a queer love story in the kitchen
