  1. The Westgate (formally the International then the Hilton) still has a lot of Elvis era remnants including his private elevator, his green room, and a cutout of the stage where he stood – it is labeled as such and most performers ceremoniously stand there before going out on stage. The current stage is on 4” risers on top of the old wood stage.

  2. Awww, Tacos El Gordo, one day, if you'll allow me, on a trip to San Diego, I'll take you to the Original "Tacos El Gordo" I've sampled the Las Vegas location, the quality is the same but you're missing the atmosphere the original offers and the price is a fraction of what you pay at the Vegas location. It is a family owned and operated chain that began in Tajuana, 5 min across the border.

  3. I’ve been alive long enough to see the birth of the Mirage Hotel/Casino. Went to a Siegfried and Roy show there that was amazing. You were in a theater with multiple live cats with NO barriers to keep them from jumping off the stage and feasting on the crowd! I’m sad to see the Mirage go, but just like every other property on the strip…it’s time has come.

  4. Oh man, wish you could have seen the Star Trek experience. My mom is the type to not enjoy Vegas and would rather be anywhere else. But she had to see the Star Trek experience, so to Vegas we went! We rode the big apple coaster and Speed the ride coaster (RIP). Being under 21, we hit every arcade in every casino on the strip. Someday I'll go back, but somehow became an adult that doesn't enjoy Vegas type activities 🤷

  5. Loved the Star Trek experience! I miss that so much of Vegas has changed, some not for the better to put it lightly! While I can now say I miss the old Vegas from 20 years ago, many certainly can say the same from further back when a certain group of folks ran the town. Say what one will about them, there weren't the problems they have these days! BTW, special attention to @TampaJay at 10:57 he certain will enjoy that!

  6. HEY ATW…IT SEEMS, MY FRIEND, THAT YOU BEING IN LAS VEGAS was akin to Daniel as he was in the "Lion's Den"! As much as you thought you were having fun, something just seem "off" about the whole experience!

  7. I like how the recreations of famous landmarks and places have a slighty stylized design almost plastic like in some cases. it gives a touch of surrealism and really looks like a fun place to be.

  8. You really brought some great memories back today. We went to the Star Trek Experience a couple of times. One of my teenage sons smarted off to one of the Klingons and the look he gave him was frightening. Quarks bar was awesome and the food was pretty good.

  9. Unless animals are being RESCUED OR REHABILITATION then they DINT BELONG IN captivity!!!! And I don’t care how well people think they’re being treated they’re not being treated well if they’re in captivity animals were taken from their natural habitat yanked away from everything that is indigenous to them and forced to be put on display so humans can be entertained I don’t care how well you think they’re being treated they don’t belong there!!!

I coulda SWORN you said "it's now a HOOKER store, but it was the Star Wars Experience gift store.' (figured out you said liquor) Ya gave me a great morning of giggles and made me consider a hearing check-up soon. (Too many years at racetracks and standingthisclose to the stage at rock shows ha ha!! Eh? Speak up, Sonny! I cain't hear ya!)

  11. Me and my hubby got married in Vegas way back in 2009 and just loved the resort, hoping and seeing how different the themes were. We don't really gamble or drink, but there is so much to see and do without it.
