Honestly im just tired of always hearing . REBUILD REBUILD!! HOW LONG WE GONNA KEEP SAYING THAT. WE HAVE TALENT RIGHT NOW.. NO REASON IN THE WORLD WHY WE ARE WHERE WE ARE
So then why we get Adams and make all those signings if we weren't in "win now mode"? Nah they already traded heavy draft capital for Adams, I dont buy that bullshit. They decided to see if they can make it work with a unit that was flawed but made the playoffs last season. They went in on getting all these high end contract but pretty much ignored everything else during the offseason.
They rolled the dice, and stacked it a little bit but still failed. Carr and the recievers are struggling with the Mcdaniels system. The defense is back to bottom 5. And now they talking about not over paying for players. I agree with not spending any more resources into this team anymore, but lets keep it real with what happened.

Were we not a RT and DT away from being actual contenders? We get a rush up the middle and the Defense instantly improves. Instead our LBers and DBs are forced to run all over the field covering. A RT would make DC feel all warm and fuzzy like it’s 2 hand touch so he isn’t too shook to deliver a ball to the chest plate. As soon as Ingold was sent off we should have known what was what.
When Ziegler and McDaniels were hired, we were told this was an upgrade, and not a rebuild. They were going to build the last year's playoff appearance. Well either they are extremely incompetent, or they just straight out lied to us, and straight out line to Mark Davis.

Las Vegas Raiders fans pay a premium for home games. Last year, the average Raiders home ticket sold on the secondary market for $501.84. That’s nearly $300 more than the league average ($203). So "Pinhead Davis" is making money with the stadium fans paid for. Players, now, probably are going through the motions because they get paid, right? The fans who were promised a "Super Bowl bound team" are the suckers. Gruden made some questionable play calls when he was playing for draft picks. The "Raider Way" I grew up with and loved is no longer there. Welcome "New England Raiders." Yes, if it is time to "move on" from players "shit or get off the pot." We should have traded for a couple of receivers to throw the ball to in the first half as they didn't throw to Adams or Renfrow until the second half against the Saints when it was too late.

Of course we should have made a move. The Bears got Claypool for the foreseeable future. Same with the Ravens and Roquan Smith. When the opportunity presents itself to get a Roquan Smith without even giving up a first, of course you do that. There are more seasons beyond this one. We always sit on our hands while stars change teams. The Devante Adams trade is once in a decade for the Raiders. Normally, we just sit there looking stupid and LOSING.
I didn’t care they didn’t trade for anyone. How’s that worked out on who they did trade for. I just want to see these guys come together and play with some heart and fire with aggression and a will to win. That’s it!

I cool with them not towing away all of the draft picks we have for one or two players. So if this is the team they are gonna work with then the coaches need to step up and plan, prep and adjust better.

At the trade deadline — for every team that's a buyer, there has to be a seller as the counterparty. You buy when you are on the cusp and need that boost and you sell when you are writing off your season. The Raiders are not on the cusp and not selling is a great indicator that they are not panicking about the future.

The thing is some of the moves they made are already questionable (Jones > Yannick , sticking with Carr, trading for Adams) which seemed to signal WIN NOW mode, although I don't disagree with the longterm growth strategy. There are a few players here and there I see potential in (i.e. Palo Mao, Parham, Brown) but overall I feel like they wasted alot of capital already with little to no ROI. They still get cap savings from cutting ties with Carr if the wins don't start happening which is still assuring in the long run. But yeah the front office has seemed to have pivoted to Plan B.
What can the Raiders get for Renfrow? A second, a third?

Man, this is tough. If I trusted the new regime, then it wouldn't be a problem. But, their track record is not exactly pristine, so I wonder… On top of that, they took a team that was tough, who had gotten past a lot of adversity, who made the playoffs and immediately started changing schemes, playbook and players, to which I can't say for the better. Possibly long run, but why wait? On paper this all sounded really great, but in reality, WTF man? I barely see Renfrow any more. Know we have Adams but it's not like that's really helping. We look clunky, disorganized, slow and we're NOT WINNING. WTF with Waller? Got that hammy holding you back now for several months! Chandler Jones… could somebody go wake him up, I'm hoping he's just sleeping instead of not a good player. We take on 99 WRs, barely any line help, if you don't have any time to throw it, doesn't matter how you have out there. I fear there's some ego and territorial pissings that are getting in the way of winning. I do not think everyone's priorities are the same. There is no reason to rebuild, unless you're the coach and want to have a ton of excuses as to why you are not winning. Beginning of the year I did think we could and would win. Now I do not. Which is a shame because this is going to end with a terrible record, good draft picks and NO D CARR, which is a really bad decision because you don't know whether the college QB can make it or not. I don't know man, I moved here in 2020 to be closer to my team, now I'm wondering if I can hold on, as we limbo into a mediocre season with a good team, where everybody is pointing fingers. Other than Carr there are no players on the team that have been there longer than 3 years so working to build rebuilding is every year.
