Las Vegas economy vulnerable to recession but still holding up



While the traditional definition of a recession has been met (two consecutive quarters of negative economic growth), according to Thursday’s GDP numbers released by the federal government, Southern Nevada’s economy is showing resistance to the financially devastating impact of a full downturn.
