  1. Those who controls political anatomy sensitive fruit of the loom part of the
political body can control any nation. They will turn any unscrupulous politician into a dancer to dance to their tune. They line up with ''FOR SALE'' sign around the neck for money. NO EXCEPTIONS. WHERE ART THOU, MY BROTHER, G. WASHINGTON?

  2. Nice interview Nima and Larry. Thanks for working through the break.

I agree; my gut feeling is that Isreal is like the Wylie Coyote who ran off the top of the cliff and is still running, although it is morally incorrect to compare the murder of 100s of thousands of people (possibly a million people since 1948) with a kid's cartoon.

It is interesting how even childrens' cartoons can normalize violence, with The Simpsons' "Itchy and Scratchy' trying to subtly knock on the stereotype Western adult conscience.

I don't know if Erdogan is all talk. Turkiye is walking a tightrope but sees that both West and East would benefit from stability in that whole region. It is almost like he is being urged to take leadership for that hair raising task. Erdogan does not want to get embroiled in war or even guerilla warfare, which is why he wants US support for Syrian Kurds stopped.

Global sentiment, including in the West, is against apartheid in any region. I agree with Chaz Freeman that the Ottoman Empire was more pluralistic than what developed in that region after WW1. The words diversity and sustainability have been corrupted into 'woke speak', but pluralism is really what is needed in these multi-ethnic and multi-linguistic areas. Europe is no different. Every region of the world is multi-ethnic and multi-linguistic, including the United States, with Spanish, Cajun and all the Native American languages that are still alive and well.

Strong leaders and unfortunately strong militaries seem to be nescessary in these trade route and rich natural resource areas.

Statesmanship needs to be re-learned in the West. The Asian nations are learning to work together, but in the West , our military, political and justice systems can be too easily bought. Money and violence talk and lead in the West, instead of experience and wisdom.

We really need to cherish and learn from these older, retired Western diplomats and government employees who took care of our world in the Cold War era and up to 9/11. Thank you Larry and all your colleagues. Keep well.

  3. If Trump wants to make peace with Russia, he clearly and unmistakably must demonstrate his will to break up with the criminally insane part of the US elite thatinsists on a policy of the "strategic defeat of Russia". From what we have seen so far, he does the exact opposite as he is designating exactly people of that extremely dangerous ilk into positions of power in the new administration.
But even if he did a 180Β° turn in that regard it still, by far, won't be enough, for there is no way that Moscow will accept some kind of "Detente" when it obviously is only meant to serve as a means to free resources for allowing an attack on Iran or China, both solidly established strategic partners of Russia.
In other words, if Trump indeed wants to turn the tides and save humanity from self-inflicted nuclear holocaust, he has to present a foreign policy project that has at its core the ending of each and every regime change project, aggressive posturing or economic sanctions for the purpose of forcing US domination on others.
As much as I hope to see that, I really can't imagine it will happen. All I know is, that the world outside of US/NATO wants peace. A smart person would gladly jump at that unique opportunity.

  5. The added complexities created by competition of the "owners" of Syria potentially are so complicated and unpredictable that efforts of the players with a stake in "owning" Syria may actually de-escalate a potential war between Israel, US and Iran. Do any commenters understand this statement at all?

  6. The Deep State had Kennedy killed. The CIA & MI6 started the war in Ukraine. Using Ukraine to bait Russia. This has all failed. Killing President Kennedy & creating this war in Ukraine and fostering the destruction of Syria. All these Deep State endeavors have resulted in the Deep distrust by Americans of their Government (whatever party is in power) draining American Military Might & Treasure in Ukraine and allowing a genocidal, apartheid, Zionist Israel to drain Billions of Dollars, Weapons and use of our Military to defend this little Demonic Beast in the Middle East. Our tattered reputation in the gutter with the rest of the world. This is the Deep State working for it's own behalf. Evil has a name & it's the Deep State. It's fingerprints are all over these evil endeavors.

  7. Underestimating Israel again is not based on the facts but just your wishful thinking. Everything you conjecture has Israel at a disadvantage but the facts don't support your projections. Turkey won't go to war with Israel. It would be a complete distraction for Turkey and its ambitions.πŸŽ‰

  8. There have come the people of Yemen; they are tender of hearts, the belief is that of the Yemenites, the understanding of the faith (wisdom) is that of the Yemenites and sagacity is that of the Yemenites.

The Prophet said, "O Allaah! Bestow Your blessings on our Shaam! O Allaah! Bestow Your blessings on our Yemen." The People said, "And also on our Najd." He said, "O Allaah! Bestow Your blessings on our Shaam (north)! O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Yemen." The people said, "O Allaah's Apostle! And also on our Najd." The third time the Prophet said, "There (in Najd) is the place of earthquakes and afflictions and from there comes out the horn of Ashaitaan."

  9. OK, OK, nobody can afford a war with Turkey. Not Israel, not the USA. Israel gets essential oil deliveries from Turkey. The USA cannot afford to go to war with a NATO ally. BTW some have suggested that "Gog and Magog" in the New Testament Book of Revelation refers to modern day Turkey. Mr. Erdogan has recently been making serious threats against the Kurds who are seen by both Israel and the USA as very valuable allies. Then there is the very serious and pressing issue of who exactly will fill the new power vacuum in Syria created by the collapse of the Assad government. All the parties need a return of law and order and stability. All this seems to point to some kind of grand deal moving forward. After all the unspoken goal of all this is to build the pipelines that will earn a fortune for the lucky ones who profit. No? No pipelines, no profit. Is this rocket science? Assad said no to at least one pipeline. Now he has no say in this matter. At least a lot fewer people are getting killed here than in Ukraine. Certain players really want to control the riches of Ukraine and Russia. No? Oh, you thought that these wars are about "democracy" or religion? Democracy is a myth and the Globalist religion to to rule the world and everybody in it. Happy New Year! WLR
