About Land of the Minotaurs
Children of Destiny . . .
Throughout the time of Krynn, one race has remained strong in its pride and beliefs. The minotaurs envision themselves as the children of destiny, the future masters of the world. Despite adversity, defeat, and enslavement, that belief has never wavered.
If there is a foe capable of destroying the minotaurs, it is their own arrogance. Here is told the tale of clan against clan, and of how the exiled champion Kaz must discover the terrible secret of the empire before he and his entire race suffer the disastrous consequences.
Land of the Minotaurs
The Lost Histories Series probes the historical roots and epic struggles of the heretofore little-known peoples of Krynn. Author Richard A. Knaak explores the land and history of the horned race of minotaurs.

Thank you for watching today's Dragonlance Mail Time episode. What do you think of Land of the Minotaurs? Leave a comment below!
One of the few books I don’t think I’ve read unfortunately. Think it’s time to pick it up!
Richard A. Knaak has done a lot for Dragonlance lore. And Kaz is one of my favorite characters. Yes it bothers me that other's authors creations are not respected. Specially since Dragonlance from its inception is a shared universe, where Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman are only part of it.
Very cool, looking forward to reading this one too. I loved what you said about the Minotaurs being poised to take over Ansalon where the novels left off in the timeline. That's how i saw it too – They had such an advantage with their sheer numbers in Taladas, physical attributes and societal focus on combat. Also, without Takhisis to get in his way, nor Paladine to oppose him, the Minotaur god Sargonnas would be able to influence their conquest. #DragonlanceRelics #DLSaga40thAnniversary #CheapPlug #StillDontKnowHowHashtagsWork
Really would have loved to play a minotaur in a Dragonlance game.
I read it decades ago and can’t remember a thing about it.
I read a book that the Dragonlance guy? I thought I was late to the world of Dragonlance.
One of the best books i have read from the dragonlance saga….first kaz….then this ❤
My first big AD&D game as a kid (we played the modules that take your PCs through Chronicles), and my longest running, highest level character, was a minotaur who took after Kaz. A barbarian turned cleric of Kiri-Jolith, who recovered Honor's Face. So many tales and much nostalgia…
Legend of Huma is my favorite DL book and the one more than any other, even Chronicles, that defines the setting for me. So yeah, I don't accept the re-writing of that storyline.
But in general, for me, DL novels ended before Dragons of Summer Flame. I just felt much that came after changed too much of what i felt made Dragonlance so special.
