It's funny how we have the same exact top 3 😁😁 just reverse one and two that's mine
Thank you for reacting to this album!!! I hope you'll listen to all of lana's discography eventually, it's a journey!
Also, finally someone shows some love to How to disappear!! It's one of my favourites
thank you for this. I feel chemtrail was the right choice
wouldn't it be easier for you to listen to multiple songs in a day then release the videos one by one ? however it works for you
Love your videos man! Makes me so happy that people like you puts effort into analyzing the music plus the era! Love this record btw. This past year was Vv tough and this album rlly did give me some light of hope. Glad you enjoyed it. You should check out mgmt’s discography and her unreleased tracks!
such an amazing video! I'm not entirely sure how many artist covers that you listen to or songs that has been featured in movies and tv shows, but Lana has done many beautiful song covers and some songs for movies like "Blue Velvet", "Once Upon A Dream", and "Water-color Eyes" just to name a few! I would love to hear and see your reactions to them if you ever get to them in the future 🙂 I hope you have a great day!
Yasssssss how to disappear and hope❤❤❤❤❤
jack antonoff also produced florence and the machines last album Dance Fever. the opening track is one of my top songs of all time and i would love to see u react to that album! (although i know you’ve got so much to react to right now but it would be a great record to add to the list!)
YAS YOU MADE THE RIGHT DECISION CTOTCC AND BB ARE NFR’s COUSINS FR
Well done. 🎡🎟️ Lana forever. ✨❤️
she published a poetry book in 2019 or 20. Violet Bent Backwards over the Grass. & I think you made the right decision to continue on with Chemtrials…
Love how Aaron is making two hour videos about an artist he just found out about. I can almost here the LDR fans chanting "one of us… one of us…" in the background.
NFR is such a treasure, I'm glad you enjoy it so much, the reaction videos were great! I suggest you listen to Melodrama by Lorde when you have a chance, also produced by Jack Antonoff, the record has more of an electropop sound which might be a bit out of your comfort zone but the lyrics and production are truly magnificent!
my top 3 of Norman i think
How to disappear
Venice bitch
Mariners apartment complex
i’m so invested with you videos especially with Lana and i’m happy that you would go that way with her discography, so exited to see
How to Disappear, The Greatest and Hope is a Dangerous Thing… are my absolute favorites in the album and ever. Great analysis!
Start at BTD😅
How to disappear is so good my favorite part is when she talks abt writing and the sky getting light it’s too good and also another lyric I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned going back to her alcoholism in bartender she doesn’t mention alcohol that’s why she says “that cherry coke you serve is fine” since she doesn’t drink anymore sober queen
Start a playlist on Spotify – you would make amazing playlists
The one interviewer who kept saying Lana smiled on the cover of the album totally got the album covers mixed up for the one he was referring to lol. The guy was talking about the Lust for Life album. She wasn't smiling on the Norman Fucking Rockwell lmao 😂but Lana was nice about the mistake and kept it cool for him
I have a feeling you’re going to like Chemtrails and the records after ❤❤❤ Thanks for this video!!! So much time was put into this
I've been unable to watch this series due to time constraints – just had to drop this to say I love this record. I'll try to come back and catch this wrap up if can.
My favorite is "How to disappear" too its amazing unique and sweet!
im glad you’re continuing lana’s discography! chemtrails and BB are my personal least fav lana albums, so i hope to gain some more appreciation for them through your reactions☺️
Please do Weyes Blood next! If you like Lana and Japanese Breakfast, you’d love Weyes Blood.
I hope he reacts to Lust for Life.
Im sorry but that Grammy "interviewer" was HORRIBLE. Her best interview for her NFR era was the one she did on KROQ.
i am soooooo excited for this!!!!
loved this! this is an absolutely perfect album. i definitely think my ranking is similar to yours with 1. the greatest 2. how to disappear and 3. mariners apartment complex with a special mention for venice bitch. this album in the context of all her earlier work is a wonderful experience cos for me her earlier albums follow this intricate chronology that is just perfect. a lot of people claim they dont like lana cos all her songs sound the same and im not discrediting that cos yeah they do but thats the whole appeal for me, each album has a concept, a vibe that she nails with EVERY. SINGLE. SONG. her albums in order weave a story thats so rich and so wonderful i am in awe of how much music can convey. cant wait for your thoughts on the mv for cocc
melodrama by lorde is an album you might like too
Wow, I loved geeking out to this with you. possibly my favourite album of all time. I do think think it's a mistake to go forward though, rather than start with born to die. 1 because she's so self referential in her lyrics and I think you might miss some of that if not listened in order, and 2, it's just so great to listen to the growth as it happened and personally, I think her best work is in those past albums. I'll keep watching either way though, love your videos 🙂
Thanks so much for this. I appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos ❤ Yours is by far my favourite reaction channel (and I've watched way too many lol)
You’re genuinely the best reactor I’ve ever seen (and I’ve seen lots). I stood with you through the entire length of your videos. Thank you for taking your time and getting to know about Lana, I can’t wait for your Chemtrails one :))
Thanks for your amazing NFR review! How to disappear is my fav too 😊. Can't wait for more Lana!
1:44:15 omg that is one dedicated fan! ❤️
The improv in NFR at 1:12:00 they actually turned into a full song, “Dark But Just A Game” on her album that came after this one
1:29:18 I'm amazed you picked up on that, because it's one of my favorite part of Venice Bitch, too. Starting from "You're in the yard…" To the end of the chorus, it's just one of the catchiest and most pleasant melody ive ever heard.
My top 3 for this album are California, The Greatest and Cinnamon girl. Also can't wait for you to start chemtrails, it has one of my favorite songs ever, Dark But Just A Game
Whoever sent that PDF in the end is a fvcking hero.
Ps. Send it to me too.
Thank you ❤
I appreciate the work you do! You have the best production value for song reviews on YouTube and I appreciate your opinion and interpretation of lyrics, you blew my mind with your interpretation on the last line in How To Disappear. So thank you for all your hard work
