  1. To be honest i feel like all her album after NFR have been feeling stagnant. You know like Ariana grande releasing an album every months and using the same generic trap beat in every song; it feels like Lana del Rey doing the same thing with her slow songs . She needs to take a break from the producer, Jack Antonoff. This album though good, does not have many variations or cohesion compared to NFR and prior albums.

  2. the first few lines of fingertips reminds me of the lines from bartender “but that cherry coke you serve is fine”. just the way she sings them

  3. Yesss, I was waiting for your reaction!!! The Sirens in the back brought a smile on my face instantly, excited to listen to it w you!

I loved the album so much and it gets better and better with each listen. My heart dropped when I saw the title of Kintsugi because I had a poem written years before with a similar motif:

You see, I act colder and tougher than I am
I never act like my shell is cracked but, you saw it
    Didn’t you?
Its pieces are glued together with golden paint
You saw a beauty in that,
I was fitting with the wabi-sabi

It’s so funny how my favourite artist used the same concept as me years later. Life is full of beautiful coincidences. Thanks for the insightful and heartfelt reaction, it’s the Elvideo usual.

  4. love your reaction!!! this album is truly another deep masterpiece by lana. it's now becoming clearer that she makes art for herself and it's up to us to interpret it and appreciate it or not.
