Definitely take the sniper hero. You want them to stay close to your artillery and shotgun isn't going to do enough on a single entity. Also, don't forget you can sell excess labor in the dikats. I think it's 200 labor for 1500 gold, so you can use that as a baseline for deciding the post battle options.
I’ve been eyeing the labour gained compared to the enemies captured and it seems like you gain half the captured enemies as labour via the post battle decision. If I remember from other games enemies captured are just enemies that are killed while routing. Not sure why the ransom was so low in that last battle, I think it might be related to the fact that the engaged army was just the one guy? Loving the series so far, great as always and keep them coming!

Well i would be probably only watching your recordings from streams bcs i am ocupied by my matriculation exams but i can imagine that many people would love to see you live.

Just wanna say. When the magma cannon fires it leaves a fire affect. Since the unit that you hit with it, they try to move back into position which leads to them killing them selfs to burning

Try blunderbusses 4 units in an army can go a long way they just rip and tear anything like a hot knife through butter
Funny enough I have seen that skaven tend to be very good chaos dwarfs ally's so maybe allying snitch in Cathay is a very good idea
Don't underestimate chaos dwarfs units they can grind early game infantry really nice eve better than dwarfs at early game
curious how much they will change the chaos dwarfs and add quality of live ui

According to a video by legend skaven get like 5 times more food if the lord is killed so I'd guess that's why you got so much labor in the second battle. Just a guess though as you didn't kill Mao and you did kill the second battles lord.

It may need tested but it kind of looks like the Lammasu animations might be better for single entity combat. The bull seems to have larger charge animation for infantry blending. Could also be my imagination at this point. Cheering on your dawi but man I still love Cathay.
