It’s time for an incredible petrol vs electric drag race!

The Lamborghini Revuelto is back, and it’s going head-to-head against the almighty Tesla Model S Plaid! So let’s see how these two incredible machines compare.

Starting with the Lambo, it’s powered by a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 along with THREE electric motors! These combine to produce 1,015hp and 1,076Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and it weighs in at 1,772kg. If you’re looking to pick one up, it’ll cost you at least £447,000!

Then alongside it we have the Tesla. It’s powered by three electric motors, and these combine to produce 1,020hp and 1,420Nm of torque. It’s also well up on weight compared to the Revuelto, tipping the scales at 2,539kg! It’s a whole lot cheaper, mind, costing around £115,000.

So they’re almost neck-and-neck when it comes to power, but will the extra weight bring the Tesla down? Or will the instant power release propel it to victory? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!

  21. This whole video is a slap in the face of Lambo, you have 300+kg lighter super car with equal HP as that Tesla saloon, and you lose pretty much every race 🤣🤣good job sending half a million € on that 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  31. The other guy simply can't drive.. It took Matt giving him x amount of chances before he finally was able to get his act together and get everything out of the Lambo.

  37. Jeremy Clarkson once said that straight away racing is for unskilled drivers.
    The Plaid did a 7:25 lap at the Nurburgring and a 600HP Porsche GT3 RS destroyed the Plaid by 45 insane seconds.
    Yes some cars are only quick in a straight line.
