  1. Daboll was in his wheelhouse last season running a conservative offense. Pre Bills, he was an offensive coordinator for middling NFL teams, where ball security, clock management and field position gave your team the best chance to win. Good job Daboll.

  2. I would NOT give a guaranteed contract to any player. Maybe Mahomes or Burrow as they’re by far the best QBs in the league.

Lamar isn’t that. He’s a runner that’s slowing down and his passing is nowhere near their level.

  3. 32 mil is just setting the bar to draw other teams, not specifically to annoy Lamar. Once the big picture is drawn out, Lamar will need advice from an agent, or his career will be financially short. It's time to be smarter than the past 12 months or so.

  4. I have to ask….Chris how are you not in a corner office with a view? Where are you in a lobby? It makes me laugh seeing people walking behind you…🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😂😂😂 or is that a moving background? AND I love when your Dad is on👏👏👏👏💓

  5. As a ravens fan I stand with the ravens front office. As elite as Lamar is he’s proven he can’t stay healthy the whole season the last two years, and that doesn’t make good business to fully guarantee a long term contract. I hope he doesn’t sabotage himself but I could see him in ten, atl, or LV

  6. I feel like watson, Murray and Wilson's performance this year has pry put a damper on big contracts with a lot guaranteed. You got tom Brady and mahomes taking team friendly deals and winning superbowls on the other end of the spectrum. Lamar is wasting a 100 mil of endorsement money opportunity arguing over a 100 mil on his contract. Not a good idea to not have an agent it would be bad for the nfl if a player with no agent gets a fully guaranteed contract. This is the nfl owners and big time player agencies banding together to protect their businesses.

  7. Phil's spot on. The Ravens are trying to get other teams to do their work for them. It's not evil, it's smart business. But it's been done too many times by other teams, and nobody is falling for it. The Chiefs are doing the same thing with Orlando Brown, Jr. This stuff can backfire, though.

  8. Although I disagree about Miami, I love Big Phil and Chris crapping on the idea of Seattle drafting a QB and emphasizing a need to get defensive help first! Regardless of issues, Jalen Carter and Yasir Abdullah are the best picks for Seattle. Even Will McDonald IV wouldn't hurt.

If not, the Hawks should add players who should help them win games they lost in 2022. They only beat 1 winning team in 2022. Time to get players to beat the best of the NFC East and AFC North too because those are other divisions the Seahawks will face outside their own.

Bring back the edge and QB hits the LOB played with!

  9. All this guaranteed money? How much is too much? If Kyler Murray got 180M guaranteed, what should he get? Somebody please. These reporters are coloring these facts so differently.

  10. Phil keeps talking about how Lamar can protect himself and I keep remembering Lamar flipping himself into the inzone, landing on his back when he was wide open just as a celebration. I’m sorry, Phil can whine about it all day long but if I’m a GM plays like that make me hesitate to give long term full guarantees specifically to Lamar.

  11. Tell me what happens if someone offers Lamar a deal and Baltimore doesn't offer a better one. Or maybe Lamar just doesn't want to go back to Baltimore? Why don't I ever hear this narrative

  12. The only people believing Lamar deserves record guaranteed money is the majority of the national sports media. The other part has explained that Lamar is very limited. The Ravens had to go to a simple college run first offense when he came to the NFL because he was a below average passer. That is exactly what any team that would be interested in him would have to run. I believe the Ravens and every other team realize this and that it is not going to win the big games. You need a pass first QB that is above average to great. I wish the national sports media would shut up about this and all other contract negotiations!

  13. OMG you're an OBJ guy ? WHY ? First of all he's a Racist POS and a Woman Abuser/stalker… Secondly he's a locker room headache… Third of all he's OLD and often injured… Fourth he wants riDICulous money… I just don't get anyone defending OBJ and his moronic actions. He should NEVER be allowed to play in the NFL again… Ohh a Team will take him and fucking regret it !

  14. Love lamar but wouldnt give the house gor any qb other than Pat. Cleveland fd it up and Lamar needs to let the full thing go. No one jumping cus solid qb draft. Also hard to give 2 1st and pay 231 mil. Hard to win that way.
