  1. Fabulous haul, I have done something similar for most of my laces,, it really is time consuming but so nice to be able to see what you have after. I will be using your tag idea for my next box Loved that idea, Tracy. I would like to find some wood boxes like you have, mine are all different sizes and overstuffed. Thanks for the inspiration, Hugs and Smiles

  2. What a fabulous haul! We have very few thrift shops left in my area, time to check the garage sales. My daughter and I just organized my ribbons and need to do the laces next. I would fold in those side pieces to make your bobbins stiffer, mine are die-cut and I glue 2 together for strength. I have a smaller paisley wooden printing block and I love it! They're meant for fabric printing so a padded surface is used. The cotton lace is called Eyelet, I've used yards of it in my lifetime!! Take good care of yourself, and what you film is a nice visit with friends who care about you.

  3. Yay! I do something very similar with plastic shoeboxes, although your boxes are much prettier. Someone gave me a load of paint samples, and I wrapped the lace around those. Good to hear your voice! 🤗

  4. Tidy storage of laces, what can be cuter and cozier than that! And for me this is a double treasure because I love to create my own storage organizers with off cuts of wood from my husband’s projects. I line the upper edge with the wooden strips (trim), the rest is cardboard, textured décor and paint. I am going to follow some tutorials of fabric/lace rust/coffee dyeing and will then store them in my boxes on cards like you show. 28:40 wow, this tape measure on the edge of your vintage box…I am going to print some of tape measure images, glue to the edges of my boxes & varnish. Fabulous!🎀

  5. Lovely gift from your friend Catherine, who I hope is doing OK. Great hauls – especially the beautiful lace. The one you couldn't think of the name I've known as 'Broderie Anglaise' (spelling?!). Hope your anxiety eases – you're a treasure and we love your videos! Oh – and that hand-carved inking block – fabulous!

  6. Lovely happy mail from Catherine and that printing stamp is gorgeous 😍 I like how you make your spools, may have to do some like that to store my multitude of lace 😂😘

  7. I love your lace haul! I’ve tried working with boxes in the past to store and organize my supplies. However; I find I do better and I use more of my products when they are in some type of clear storage containers or cubes. When I can look at my shelf and see what I have it’s easier for me to stay organized. I also craft more efficiently.
