Labor want to cover Australia in a ‘tarpaulin of solar panels’

Nationals MP Keith Pitt says the federal Labor government want to cover Australia in a “tarpaulin of solar panels”.

Mr Pitt told Sky News host Chris Kenny that Labor plan on having “wind turbine forests”.

“The practicalities of this, these big wind turbines in particular, they have up to 800 tonnes of concrete just in the base alone.

“They’re destroying thousands of hectares of actual Koala habitat.

“Without approvals, they don’t need them in Queensland, they get overridden.

“I don’t think the Australian people will wear it, the bush certainly won’t wear it.

“It just won’t work.”

  1. I have never been so worried about the state of this country and it's future as I am right now. I am so glad I never had children. What a dreadful future they would face.

NUCLEAR REACTORS AS OUR MIAN POWER GENERATION IS THE WAY TO GO FOR AUSTRALIA AS WE HAVE THE WORLD'S LARGEST RESERVES OF URANIUM AND THE CHEAP RELIABLE POWER NOT AFFECTED BY WEATHER WILL ENERGISE OUR ECONOMY AND OUR COMPETITIVENESS AND CREATE NEW INDUSTRIES & WORKFORCE SKILLS IN AUSTRALIA AND FREE UP PRODUCTIVE LAND FOR OTHER USES UNLIKE THE HECTARES OF LAND REQUIRED TO ACCOMMODATE WASTEFUL TOXIC SHORT-LIFE RENEWABLES
