Labor showing an ‘overwhelming sense of weakness’ in recent international affairs

There is an “overwhelming sense of weakness” from the Albanese government concerning recent incidents with China and the UN resolution on the war between Israel and Hamas, Sky News host Chris Kenny says.

“I’m deeply worried,” Mr Kenny said.

“How surprisingly strong Penny Wong and Anthony Albanese were, they were standing up to China, they were saying and doing the right things when it came to AUKUS and the alliance.

“But now when it comes to matters, foreign policy and national security, we’ve seen the absolute chaos.

“We saw Anthony Albanese try and suppress the issue of the sonar attack against our sailors in an effort not to create a confrontation with Xi Jinping, and now we see the weakness on Israel, voting in favour of that UN resolution … there’s an overwhelming sense of weakness.”

  1. Labour has shown real strength on multiple issues facing Australians.

It have come to be understood that sky news is in fact, "like the abc" biased!

Labour has not been bending over and on both knees to white collar criminals.

If the Labour government, labours to resolve the disability royal commissions recommendations, and goes further than the recommendations, it would be a Labour party decade.

  2. Sending PM Albanese and the ALP congratulations for prioritising the safety of all Australians at this time of year…🇦🇺

Ill assume with confidence Lachlan wont find any new age feminine males at sky who will volunteer to report on the red sea piracy from the red sea themselves……….🥵

  5. I feel disgusted by this, America is one of our closest allies and to turn down a single ship honestly makes me feel ashamed to be Australian! Albo needs to go be removed or JFK'd NOW!!!! Also Sky News, love and only watch your channel for news but why are there 3 different video's exactly the same footage?

  6. The worst thing Albanese could do right now is refuse America's request but that's what you get with a dipshit in the driver's seat. I really don't know what Australians were thinking at the Federal election 18 months ago voting for a single cell life form but they really blew it. Not having the capability to send a warship is utter bullshit. And there's been a lot of ex-navy slugs on here saying shit that at the very least is restricted information…

  7. How embarrassing. The only thing we have to fight with now is our reputation.

If the Americans hadn't provided us with the material means in the past to gain that reputation, we wouldn't even have that.

God forbid should we have to face a serious threat in the near future. Remember, Biden is in the Whitehouse and we have Albo and ToTo leading the way.

What could go wrong? I shudder to think.
