I was there for this Smackdown. It was really nice to hear unambiguous Cena cheers. WWE spent over a decade trying to ge the crowd to unabashedly support him as a Babyface. He's always had a lot of fans, but it always came with "Cena sucks!" right after. It was really cool to hear the crowd chant Cena's name with no strings attached.
Cena might have had limited moveset, might have been shoved down our throats a bit, but he was never a bad wrestler, I think even his most ardant critics would have a hard time saying that with a straight face. Let's go Cena!
