time for people to stop hiding behind the “freedom of speech” argument. sure it’s freedom of speech, but it’s never been “freedom of speech without consequences”. you have the right to call your boss a “jerk” to his/her face. you won’t get arrested and thrown in jail, but you’ll get fired. we live in a “sensitive world” and you have to be smarter when it comes to what you put out in public. that said, i do agree things could have been handled differently concerning the outcome.
