  1. As much as I stopped watching KTLA due to it's political stance, I did enjoy Sam Rubin's entertainment spot. He was the one shinning personality on that newscast that concentrated on what he did best. He will be missed.

  2. Sam was a great news anchor. Also Chris Burrous who was another great news anchor on KTLA also who passed in December 2018 was a great to watch. So sad when someone you see everyday and don't personally know them passes away it hits you in a way that the news won't be the same without them.

  3. rest in peace to the great Sam Rubin his strong wicked good sense of humor and a real good sense of pride he will be greatly missed he made us all laugh and made the news not so boring he made it to where you can watch the news and get a good couple laughs out of it he was truly great

  4. Some TV personalities are so genuine. You know it's not an act. They greet you, and you could feel a smile coming to your face. Sam was one of those personalities. Like Fred Rogers, Huell Howsers, or Bob Ross. He was a joy to watch. I will miss him.
