KSP2: Building an EELOO Ring Station!

Today’s mission was definitely challenging! I set out to build a large Space Station with a fuel depot and a lander all the way out in orbit of Eeloo – the furthest planet from the Sun. To make matters harder, the whole thing needed to be single-launch, since I still don’t quite trust docking ports in Kerbal Space Program 2. Prepare to live, laugh, lag, in today’s interplanetary epic. Enjoy!

  1. 16:40 its not piracy if you own an actual copy. At least not here in the US. You retain the right to consume the media in whatever form you choose, since you bought it.
And quite honestly i dont buy the argument that it is somehow damaging the company monetarily even if you dont for obsolete consoles. It is morally right to pirate out of print, no longer distributed media. Especially if its nintendo.

  2. KSP2 is getting better but is still buggy as all hell. I was going to Duna last night and while doing my interplanetary transfer burn my thruster quit thrusting. It was sure as heck burning fuel but was giving no thrust. I ended up running out of fuel. Not the first time this has happened. The orbital decay bug is most annoying too. I work in software development and it seems to me that bugs like these would be easy to track down and fix. That they have not is leading me to believe that there is something seriously wrong with the physics engine.

  3. I noticed when you deployed that 2nd set of boosters, the orbital set – one of them picked up an odd spin when you staged. Just an observation, but I'm rather curious if that might have had something to do with the uncontrollable spin you got on ascent when you staged the first boosters… couldn't imagine what would cause that, just seeing a potential link. Maybe an RCS module not oriented properly?

  4. Thanks for your patience m8. I want to play this game so badly, but looking at the current state i still don't see why i would start. I'll just play some ksp1 for now. Keep making these videos please, as they are my main source of information to know when i can jump in 🙂

  5. KSP 2 has been nothing more than a cash grab at this point imo – It's painfully obvious that in olden days this game would not be open for public beta – yet here they are making full-release ship it money on the game's name alone with no promises that they'll fix it in any reasonable time frame.

  6. I will say it again….. the reason for the delay of the launch of the game was because it wasn't ready….. 2 years late, they release and it was absolutely broken and not playable, 6 months later and its still not playable. What did the developers do with the 2 years of extra time?

  7. Fwiw, using gpt4 to write scripts is a great idea. I do it for similar things and it always comes up with better text and prose than anything I can make.

You need to give it lots of details about what you want. But it’s perfectly capable of outputting beauty from a poorly worded (but well thought out) mess of bullet points and sentences.
