Peter Jackson's adaptation was just too much. It would have been better had they shaved off about 30-40 minutes, and the female lead falling for Kong was weird.

There are lots of directors that are nerdy…but being good at “nerdy” stuff, doesn’t always carry over to being good at directing lol
Those skull crawlers scare the shit out of me. Especially that one scene where he wrapped his tongue around the guy and swallows him whole. I couldn’t imagine being in the monsters, throat, being crushed and suffocating like an anaconda.
Everything was great about this movie in my opinion for the most part except for brie Larson. She’s just so wooden.
