  1. I think a few things needs to happen; 1 Konami needs to be more open in communication with their player base. 2. Making these sets or other sets have things in 2 or 3 rarities so that the cards aren't super expensive but just expensive enough for them to still make money. And 3. Both the new top decks aren't oppressive, yet they're powerful and have a bvk and forth game. We should make decks more fair and less toxic and oppressive

  2. I've been saying the same, apart from the mulcharmies being secret and expensive ban list has been ok ish. Also by the way fuwalos reprint it's basically 5-6 months from the original print for me that's ok.

  3. i like how at 7:37 u completly disregarded that comment he said about alternate formats just to go back to new meta strategies and how konami should support them…. this is why im 70/30 on cali man… u act like your aware of the poor state of the game but then u start acting like farfa a konami industry plant to only defend the game…..

  4. I like your channel and your videos my man, but the part where you said that they have to make money somehow had me stop what i was doing, rewind, relisten and comment. It's gonna ve a rant, but it has to be.

They're a business and have to make money, yes; but by being this predatory? Moreover, how are they making money in the east if the chase cards are 1-2 rarities lower almost every single time in the ocg? The yen isn't even strong rn, so are they losing money over there? And it's not at all like the ocg printing modus operandi when they give us the hard to pull, very hard to pull and too hard to pull rarities of x card- it should be going down, once in a while, not constantly up. I understand not wanting to turn the channel into a negative nancy one, but this isn't a good point to make. Konami doesn't have an excuse on their pricing, they've verified that they think westerners to be complete morons, so they just keep on treating them as such.

The card design is bad and broken, the business model is immoral, the respect to the paying customer isn't there. Ban current broken product to make 'em buy the next product shouldn't be accepted. Purposely making bad product and needing to make money shouldn't both be in the vicinity of one encompassing argent.

I love the game, but this is unacceptable. If there was at least a decent anime to go with the cards, it would be at least palatable and somewhat meaningful to chase the cool ones. Imo peak yugioh was around 5ds era, it was expensive, with broken tear 0, but the blackwings, stardust etc meant something to me, while current day archetypes that come and go, the snake eyes, tearlaments and ryzeals are pure cardboard slop.

  5. I don't understand the argument that the OCG model wouldn't work here when it literally works in Japan. Unless the argument is they get it for cheap and we are the ones who subsidize it in which case that is very unfair as customers.

  6. If they increased the rarity ratios slightly per box for Secret and below and gave better prizing for YCS (they have already made a step in the right direction with the Steam Deck) the game would be much healthier. The banlist is another matter entirely, stop banning decks into oblivion making them unplayable. Hit them, sure, but there's limiting a deck and then removing it as an option entirely. With the new list, small steps in the right direction. Still a long way to go and with these new TCG's coming out it will be interesting to see what their plan is.

  7. Shame on those people who voted for petit moth…they could have voted for magia and that would have been a fair vote but petit moth for the "lols"? Thank God the yugioh community can't pick the cards to be in the forbidden limited list.

  8. Not true bad players one cards to be cheap because they are not good enough players to win tournaments even at locals to get packs to love to try to pull cards good players want cards to be the most expensive they can be to not just be $50 cards to be hundreds of dollars if not thousands of dollars per card

  9. Even if konami's pushing a new format to sell product and remove older deck, it's not as strict as a set rotation. I play my unchained deck since the support came out and still can play it today, 1 and half a year after the support made it compete along the best decks at the time and 1 year after the hit on the banlist. Sure I had to boost it with fiendsmith, either for consistency or to level up the endboard, but the unchained part is still doing the same end board as the start, and it's still a great board today

  10. YOU DO NOT WANT multiple formats in yugioh, it would kill the game and too those who say the game would die it would kill it further, wanna see what it dose to a game, look at mtg, cards cost a SHIT TON and they do not reprint. so if you think multiple formats would make ygo cheaper, all that's going to happen is make cards go up in price, it's cool that more random cards are going up in price but a card that can be meta in multiple formats is not just going to be crazy expensive it's going to be OVER KILL. i understand that the rarity collections is a 25th celebration of the game but, we do not need random old cards to be reprinted, imagine if it was supposed to be a normal reprint set but non of the cards you wanted were in there instead it's like old vindictive magician, you get that instead of the new maxx c, because of some random format you don't even play.
so all in all it's going make the ppl who complain do it even more.
lands in mtg are about 10$ then you have the cards everyone wants 40$ 30$ 50$, those are 3 different cards in one deck not counting the lands, mtg is NOT A slow game, it's like yugioh, you want the best stuff to win and games can go as sort as 1-4 turns or long as 7-15. (you have to proxy a lot of cards, because of the cost )

  11. 3 prints, 3 highsest rarety tcg, 1 high, 1 collector, 1 budget pring ocg.
i stilln rather have ocg printing in the tcg, keeps the game alive.
i quite april this year, cause the pricing was way to expensive, and 300 for 2 cards, is to expensive, even at launch.
they should never have been higher than 40, if konami printed more money makers in the sett, insted of 1 card every one wants, and the rest being 5 buck trash.
