Star Yoruba Moives actor, Murphy Afolabi is reportedly dΓ«ad.
News of his dΓ«ath was made public by the president of the Yoruba movies directors guild and founder of Best of Nollywood Awards, Seun Oloketuyi.
The actor reportedly dΓ―ed from complications from a slip in the bathroom.
Meanwhile, several Nollywood stars have taken to their respective social media handles to mourn the veteran actor.

Kemi Afolabi said: β€œPhew! Rest in peace, sir. DΓ«ath a debt everyone owes and must pay.”
β€œR.Ï.P Adedigba. We will surely miss you. We drank from your River of knowledge, we know how important you are,the sΔ…d news this morning really brΓΈke my heart @alafinoro1 sun re ooo,”

Kunle Afod wrote on Instagram.
In another post, the actor said: β€œAnother library is bΕ³rnt down today. A great philosopher. An icon with so much Yoruba knowledge. A lover of God @alafinoro1. You departed this sΓ―nful world early hour of today.
May your gentle sΓΈul rest in pΓ«ace.”
Reacting on Afod’s post, Yomi Fabiyi said, β€œMay his sΓΈul RÏP.”

Yinka Quadri, Madam Saje and many others also commented on Kunle Afod’s post.
The famous Nigerian actor was born in Osun State. He hailed from Osogbo town.
The 49-year-old actor studied Movie Production, Mass Communications, and Theatre Arts at Ire Polytechnic, Osun, where he studied.

    That thunderstorm uprooted a very big tree in front of our house in Felele area of Challenge in Ibadan. I was still in primary school then in 1979 or thereabout….. Baba Duro Ladipo was more than a legend.
