Today, I am Kings Island for opening day of Halloween Haunt 2022. Kings Island Haunt is off to an amazing start this year. Opening night 2022 was packed, which probably indicates this will be a very busy year for KI Haunt 2022. This year Kings Island is running 6 houses including the all new Hotel St. Michelle, Killmart, Slaughterhouse, C.H.A.O.S, Madame Fatale’s Cavern of Terror, and the relocated Cornered House. 4 scare zones also return for the 2022 season: the all new Alien X. Coney Maul, Pumpkin Eater (which has been re-imagined and is fantastic), and International Fear Street. In addition to the houses and scare zones, there are several other areas decorated with various Halloween props and decor.
The actors were on point tonight and it really felt like they were all ready to terrify visitors all season long at Kings Island. One last important thing to note is King’s Island has a new bag policy that only allows a 2.5x4x6 inch bag into the park. This is a very small bag size. A large amount of people were being turned away at the gate due to their bags. They were even turning away diaper bags. Just be aware of this policy and plan accordingly. Thanks for watching!

Great year
I'm planning to go down to Kings Island for 3 days weekend of October 14th. I watch your videos from 2021 and 2022 opening night. If I had 3 days and out of the 3 days I'm planning to use fast lane plus on Saturday 11am-12am so I was wondering how busy Friday nights are along with Saturdays and Sunday's during the weekend of October 14th? I'm planning to do the scare zones and mazes on Friday night maybe some night rides on Mystic Timbers and The Beast then Saturday just rides and coasters all day same on Sunday. Would Saturday be the only day I should need a fast lane plus? And how busy has the haunt been? This is my first time going to the haunt at Kings Island.
cool thanks
Awesome! I wanna go so bad but idk it might be to creepy for us
I'm going tonight I'm from VA
Thanks so much on the complements on kill mart! I work in there! I worked opening night!
03:00 despite working in retail for so long, I really do love seeing houses and mazes based in stores and malls.
I really miss going. They called me "meal on wheels" and "Hauntmama".
Thanks for posting these great videos!!!!!
Great seeing so many familiar "faces"
How does this compare to Cedar Point? I’ve never been to Kings Island’s Halloween event. I went to CP again tonight, and it was better than last week.
Honestly, comparatively speaking this years opening nights (friday and saturday) are kind of lacking and not as good as other years. It definitely was not as overwhelming as previous years, which it being overwhelming in the context is a good thing. However, there may be a good side to this. Maybe they are planning something special for the next few years and are just cutting their budget for thing that aren’t the main park ( haunt and winter fest) But they could just be lacking since it is the first few night and they don’t exactly have everything together.
I went there yesterday.
and went in the haunted house it was fun and scary.
I saw you there.
It was horrible it was so disappointing the lack of characters they had broke character
Typically it takes a few weekends for them to adjust things so I think we Probally see more fog and stuff. They may be finding more machines and stuff
I'm a Pumpkin Scare Actor, thanks for the great coverage of our zone. I love our new home
I will be going to Kings Island Halloween Haunt this Friday for the first time
