One aspect I am curious about in the current build of the game is crashing the price of luxuries by overproducing them. If that is the case then diversifying makes more sense to keep the value of goods up. Since there is no limit to demand in the game even selling massive volumes of cheap luxuries still nets a tonne of cash.
