Welcome back to KINGDOM HEARTS. Seth is in the hot seat today as we get lost in the maze of Hollow Bastion. I take us on an MTV cribs tour of the sewers of the castle, we get a prayer from Catholic Jiminy, and get up to many other very inappropriate shenanigans as per usual here on Kingdom Hearts Wednesdays!

  2. Can’t believe the existence of God was proved, definitively, on a Kingdom Hearts let’s play. Wow. But seriously, the Jimminy Cricket with the rosary edit took me out lmao

    I always assumed hollow bastion was made of mostly crystal but I can definitely see it as ice too.

    God, it really has been too long since I’ve played 1. I COMPLETELY forgot about the lifts.

    I used to know the lore around the keyblade Riku summons here but I’m drawing a blank now (plus I’m pretty sure it gets retconned later anyway hdbdjfkt)

    And great job Seth! Only having to fight Riku twice with no guard is impressive.

    (Resisting the urge to explain the entire plot of Flowers in the Attic in my comment because boy I do not have the space for that but it’s definitely not a kids book or a romance. Would be very concerned about Kairi reading that hshndkfkg)

  5. righttt, those lift stops take forever 😑 that's probably the only thing I didn't like about this world cuz everything else was great especially the music 🎶💯 if I remember correctly the nobodies hoodie is protection from the darkness and the brown one Ansem wearing here protects his heart cuz he has no body he's just a heart (which explains why it gives a more creepy vibe since he's not physically there it's just he's heart/soul) and that brown hoodie helps him move around since he had to give up his body to be able to time travel, I can't remember which game explains the nobody hoodie but the brown one was talked about in KH DDD & KH Dark Road (moblie game) I've been watching deep dives about the KH moblie games which has really helped me understand the story better😅
