They also said that Subject X has dark hair. Which could be Skuld or Ava. Wr don't know what Ava's hair color is because of her hood and mask. But she's still an option. I'm still sold on Skuld though.
I agree that it seems like it should be Skuld, but I don’t know how this fits in with the fact that the woman who hands baby Xehanort to blue robe , and seems likely to be Xehanort’s mother, looks a lot like (but also distinct from) Skuld. Not only does she closely resemble Skuld, but this resemblance was mentioned in an interview, in a context saying that missing link or something will involve the theme of bloodlines or heritage of some kind.
This seems to suggest that this woman is either related to Skuld by blood, or is meant to seem to be related to Skuld by blood even if she isn’t actually.
If she is a descendant of Skuld, then I don’t see how the timeline would fit together, seeing as subject X is still around 15?
Like, maybe Subject X eventually gets sent back in time and has descendants after that point?
Or maybe uh, something with cloning or other way this woman could be genetically sorta-descended from Skuld without Skuld having like, actually had a child in the usual manner of human reproduction?
Or maybe characters just get confused and think this woman is related to Skuld even though she isn’t, and that’s why the similarity in appearance could be relevant? Idk…
It is hard to say who is Subject X. While it's possible that X could any of the three girls there evidence that they might not be as proven through in game and interviews done by Nomura. You points on Ava and Stretiliza is something I agree with as Luxu had an idea why Ava didn't show up to the Keyblade graveyard while the latter is aware that she in an afterlife with Quadratum. It could be Skuld but in the Dark Road finale interview with Nomura, the black hair woman Xehanort claimed to be his mother has some blood relationship with Skuld due to their similar hair appearance. It's possible that her lifeboat didn't send her to the future with Emphemer. My best bet is that Subject X is the true Dandelion as Luxu had no choice but to step in and take her away from Xehanort before he does something dangerous. It the only I have as Luxu allowed Xehanort to extract the primordial darkness in Ven and allow Laurium and Elrena join the organization XIII twice

It seemed like the most likely candidate for Subject X was Skuld, but Dark Road really threw a wrench in that theory, implying that Xehanort's mother is at least related to Skuld. The KH4 teaser appears to rule out Strelitzia.
